EPC is a registered charity working for the benefit of children and their families in the London Borough of Enfield. The project offers services to assist progress at school if your children are facing difficulties. Services include: African Parent Support Group for parents/carers of children with autism Support through workshops, information, advice and caseworker support Information and advice to parents/carers whose children are moving from Primary to Secondary school Low cost counselling
ESCAPE Support Group aim to extend opportunities and support to families of special needs children, within Somerset. We bring the whole family unit together to spend quality time in relaxed surroundings. Our activities boost morale, increase confidence, improve social skills, decrease behavioural difficulties and develop and strengthen friendships.
Eva Organization for Women (EOW) is based in Leicester. EOW is driven to empower, encourage, motivate and support women and their families from all walks of life to have a positive impact on the world in which they live. EOW is driven to provide support and also involvement in a variety of events and campaigns to improve lives of individuals both in the UK and other parts of the world.
Families can come to us for support and advice on any aspect of family life and get information on matters such as child development, parenting, and advice on how to stay safe and healthy.
FAME helps parents or relatives make decisions and settle disputes arising from the breakdown of their relationship which affects children. With mediation parents can work with the help of mediators to reach agreement on how to divide their assets and liabilities whilst concentrating on the future of their children. The first meeting with a mediator is free, Services are then offered on a sliding scale according to income.
Outreach support and contact service for birth families involved in child protection and / or family court proceedings. Includes self referals. We work mainly in North Tyneside and Newcastle, people from other areas are invited to drop in groups
Barnardos Family Action Benchill, Provides support services for families and children, including: play groups, a community creche, parenting education courses, a toy library, family work, a male carers' group and self help groups, Freedom Programme.
Worthing Family Support Services are planned with each family and the person who referred them to suit the family’s individual needs. This may include: • parent education • parent and child relationship work • parenting assessments • direct work with children • protective behaviours We work with families who have at least one child under 13 years.
Family Friends offer a long-term commitment based on each family's unique needs and potential. They aim to facilitate positive changes in people's lives. Services they offer - Parent befriending - For parents with a child or children under the age of 16 years. Child/adolescent befriending & mentoring - For children/adolescents aged 5 years and above and under 16 years old.
Family Friends aims to help all families with young children in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead by preventing emotional and practical difficulties from becoming serious problems.
