I'v not felt like this in a long time :(

oh i really don't know what to say for a change! faced with a whole day of not being able to do anything tomorrow other than be in the house and get out thankfully for work! then back to a lonely house! i'v been that board today that i'v sorted everything out! front room is near enought done! i'v stripped of all out beds inc the one me unc slept in! done ALL the washin up! (altho now there is more!) I'v even polished our soes ready for school tomorrow! and i don't mean the normal stuff that comes in a bottle polish! hehe (couldnt find that!) i got the good old polish in a little tin out that you have to put on with a brush and then polish them up and then take any excess off! that polish!!!! so we'v both got nice shiney shoes for school tomorrow! ... well his more so cuz mine arnt meant to be highly polished!!!! I have how ever just brought him some new shoe's cuz his boots are starting to look a bit past it now! lol so brought him some new shoe's of ebay with the rest of my paypal money that i'v had left from the things i'v just sold! so next week he can have some new shoes! :D just got to get him some trainers VERY shortly! as he's no a size 11 and trainers are 10 and 1/2! and the way his feet are i cant really put him in shoes that are too small for him!

ah well! we'll get there when get everything sorted out! cant wait till i have a little bit of money even if it's just a tenner! better than what i got right now!

Hi hatz. Hope you're feeling better this morning. I know you normally love it when you have the house to yourself, so I guess last night was a pretty wierd feeling for you. It's all normal though, we all get lonely at times, but you'll bounce back again. Today you have work, so at least that will get you out of the house for a while. When are your parents back? Have a good day, and let us know how you're feeling. Take care

Hello Hatz And the Rest of the Crew.

Yes think Loneliness is the biggest thing to deal with when your on your own and been with someone for a long time, especially if your children are with you most or all of the time and you carnt have friends round alot.

Need to find things to stimulate the mind reading excersice internet education course but its hard most of us here go through it from time to time your not alone on that one.

I know it's a thing that everyone gose thru it just hit me the other night! had my uncle here from the isle of weight from 23rd december till 10th jan and my parents were stayin in there caravan and my unc was here so it was really nice to have him around the house and everything! then it was all gone :( i knew it was goin to happen but it was just the emotion around it all kinda got too use to him bein here i guess! but every one's gone for a few days well my unc gone back to his house and has said he's goin to start lookin round here for a house/job etc! so we just got to wait and see what happends! as for my parents they'll be back on friday evening some point lol but after everything and everyone being in the house to no one and nothing! so it really did just hit me the other night! .. i'v got use to it again now tho! so when parents come back it's goin to be other way round! haha!

Today's actually been all right! managed to get up at 7 this morning :O first time in about 3 weeks! lol dropped my son off at school (nearly put work then! lol) then went home and had me breakfast! did some work on the computer and then it was pretty much time to go in to work my self! so i got sorted out ready for work and headed in! I was kinda early so i went for a walk up the lane to see the horses next to school (just the 3 out today and they were resting so left them to it after 5 mins!) and then headed in to work! :) kids gettin on my nerves and if they do agian tomorrow i'll be armed with the red cards cuz fed up of telling them not to fight not to do this that and the other so that'll be it tomorrow!!!! after work i came home sat down and dropped off! lol woke up at 2:30 got ready to go get muddy monster from school! and came home again! did his spellings, tricky words and reading then chucked him in the bath while i went and sorted the kitchen out! did all the pots went back in to him and said you ready to come out and he said no 20 more mins so said ok! that'll give me chance to get spuds ready for tea! so went did that and he washed his hair ... all by him self! ... then he was ready to come out! so got him out and had tea then sat down snuggled up on settee and fell asleep again! only had 20 mins! lol chucked him in bed (not litually! lol) and now's now!

got to tidy house AGAIN! lol and then dying my hair tonight! lol

so will catch you tomorrow some point after a very busy day j/c in the morning work 11:55 till 1:05 then reading with the kiddies from 1:10! then i don't know! lol just wait and see what happends!

Yell Job centre Yell that all I can bleamin well say Yell God knows whats happaning now :( I go in to see bout the income suport side of life! the lady sits there and with a lot of ummin and aring about things said so why have you chose to go on income suport???? cuz i was told about it as an option! cuz i NEED the money!?!?! cuz it's something that your meant to tell people about that might actually be able to get it! you choise the answer! (ok i didnt say the last 3!) so i looked thru the form that i filled in over the phone and signed that and everything was ok on there! then she said you'v not had payment since december 27th i said yeh i found that out earlier the other day! hence i'm sittin here now! so she told me to write on the back of my income support form to claime back for job seakers that i'v missed out on! then she was ummin and aring again! and said when did you last claim for job seakers so told her 10th and she was like thats ok then you'v left the day between so should be ok! and a lot more umming and aring follows and she gose on to say that i might not get income support Undecided in which case i have to go back and make another claim ... i said what am i to do while i'm waiting for that? ... how long till i get some money? ... i'v got a son to sort out with new clothes and shoes for school (he's now not got any trainers that fit him so just having to doss around in his old school shoes) :( and i'v got to get stuff for me self like my new glasses ... oh and what bout this £250 am i still aloud that? so she was like yes ummmm ... couple of weeks? ... when will i know about income support? ... umm a couple of weeks? when will i know about anything????????????? guess what the bloody answer was! .... yes thats right .... UMMMMMMM a couple of weeks!

So i am sat here with no bloody clue what so ever! other than ummmm a couple of weeks! Yell what sort of bloody answer is that! ummmmm couple of weeks :( so i'v got a meeting with her on 24th at 4pm so got to take my son along with me! and see what's what then! but as to everything else i havent got a bloody clue Yell she said i can phone up for crisis loan ... of which you need the money to get in to the job centre to pick it up! whats the point of that???? don't have the money to get in to coalville, cant get the money can I!

but there we go! goin to check me bank tomorrow see if the £250 has gone in, if so i'll be straight down boots and payin for my new glasses as i'm in DESPRATE need of them now even my old one's aren't helpin with this eye pain i'm gettin! If it's not well looks like i have to wait ... ummm a couple of weeks!!!

ALSO school's made some sort of mistake on my money! didnt notice till the other day! they only paid me for october! not for nov or dec! so i should have gone back round to see the lady after i finished readin with the kids but i forgot till i got home so goin to go in bit earlier on monday and see what she found out! lol and see what's what! but i have to say i think i'v done pretty well living on the £100 that school gave me in oct! and then only my tax credits and job seakers till the 27th dec and then the alst 3 weeks on just tax credits! lol so till now it's been just bout ok! lol but i'm just waiting for everything to be back dated and all that! then i shall be able to catch up! and ... make my bank account happy again! lol

so other than umm a couple of weeks i don't have a clue!

What a disgrace! You must feel like a football, kicked for pillar to post, hatz!

If the money does not go in the bank, do consider the Crisis Loan thing. You don't have to go in to do that, you can do it online here

Also if the money does not go in, email our One to One Money Advice Service as they can advise you what action to take next.

well started off the week in a much better mood! had £50 in me bank today from tax credits! so was at least able to get a few things and treat my self to a cuppa in me friends cafe! lol went to see the lady in school about my money and she said she's phoned them but still dosent understand how it's happend! she sent my things off to them but they didn't process it thru there systum! (paid from county hall) so she's pushed it all thru and will get that at the end of the month which is good! then she also found out that i hadn't claimed for the last week i worked in december! so i'v got a sheet to fill in and claim for that which will come in on next months wages! lol so at least i'll get 2 months with a nice wage packet! :) altho it's all ready been spent (in my head! lol) got to give me mum some money, pay for glasses and a pair of trainers for the monster! so it's all ready been spent up! but least it'll be something for a few days lol!

then just got to wait for this £250 thats comin my way and what ever else the job centre decied on EG income suport!

As to writing to our MP i don't actually know who it is now :( Our last MP died suddenly from a heat atack boxing day not last but the one before that christmas :( he was really good for sorting things out! espicially if it's to do with single parents! but as to who it is now! i have no idea at all :( but will see what happends by end of month! if i don't see anything by then i'll kick off at them till something happends!

any ways! i'v got all of half hr (well just a bit over!) till i have to get the hungry monster today! so got to do a tidy round and this that and the other!

so goin to head off and sort out x chat laters x

Well monster left the dinner hall in a nice clean state! one the other dinner ladies came in bout 10 mins later and said he's totally CAPED in mud!!!!!! slipped down the bank!!!!! ah well lol more washin for me to do! never ending really! poor washin machine! But MEGA thanks to the person that made them electircal and not one that we have to stand and spin it round! lol

Then i had another dinner lady come up to me and said that he's just gone runnin in to his cloak room and straight in to the first aid clip board! haha! so he's got a small bump on his nose to go with the muddy bum!!!! haha!

am in the dinner hall this week the first day he wasn't happy with me being in there! 2nd he was fine and i thought brill he's not fussed by me! then today he's been clingy again! so i cant win with him at the moment try and keep him out side but he don't want to be there and runs back in when someone's opened the door! but there we go! lol brought him a cake and told him to sit down so i can get on with my job! lol there's a yr 6 gal thats been helpin me loads with out me askin her or anything so she's also been tryin to help him too! so i goin to have to give her a green card at end off week to say thanks for all her help thats she's given me! :) lovely girl she is! very kind and just gets on with out askin or anything :)

went got him and asked him if he wanted to go to hair dressers and he said yes! so we went down :) he sat there really nicely having his hair cut! she's given him a short back and sides with a trim on top! so he's still got the lenght on top his head just a really nice style round the sides and back! :D and he don't half look different! haha! when we'v had it done before it's been like a number 3 round the edges and a number 4 on top! so it's not been that different! so having it like it is i keep lookin at him thinkin errrrrrr your not ... oh yes you'v had your hair cut! haha! then cut of the time we jumped on the bus to go home :) and got home just as me step dad did! :) so that was good for cam hehe!

OH! MY! WORD! stupid women that lives 2 doors down that insists on driving to school to drop her son off and pick him up cuz she's got a sports car! (takes longer to drive!) but my lad was on his scooter comin out of the school gates and she was late pickin her son up so she was rushin down, well my son went down the slope to get on to the road to cross and she carried on walkin pretty much in to him, so i gave her a look as if to say excuse me! (as you would!) and left it at that, she came up behind me and i THINK she called me a female dog! she deffently said something along those lines! and then said i think you need to teach your son some manners :O i was like no, he wasn't in the wrong (i wasn't lookin at her, thought no eye contact here best way!) she then said that i should watch who i give filfy looks to next time! so just said yeh yeh! what ever! and walked out of ear range! ANY ways! my lad's teacher was behind us! (which i didn't know!) and she said well done for backin your self up there! lol so i told her where it all started and everything and she said yes! she's a horrible women! we had her in our class last yr bout her son and we didn't get on! lol and she said being a teacher we have to learn to smile and get on with it! i said yes I learnt that when i was working back in a nursery little while back when there parents there started up! hence i wasn't givin her any eye contact! lol that way i can just carry on with what i was goin to do! (I will say thankfully my son didnt hear any thing nor was he aware of anything goin on cuz he was a few feet infront of me!)

but all i say on the stupid women is that if she wants to start anything with her family and pay a little visit! ... she don't realise that we (me and my mum!) actually know 1/2 off them and so we'd just open the door and straight in to a convo and have a good laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know! some people ay!

I really do think that parents should watch what there sayin round there kids or any other kids! ok yes sometimes the odd one comes out but really you should hold it all back. The amount that kids know now and what they come out with at school, I mean i had to warn a 4yr old today about callin people GAY ... in no way is it a swear word but it's being taken in such a way now that it's a bad thing and on pretty much the same lines as a female dog :O as he carried on sayin i just turned to him at his level and said if i hear you say it one more time i'l be having to go to your teacher and talkin to her about it who will probably have to go to the head teacher! so i got him to say sorry to the whole table! but with what the kids know now were forever tellin them to mind it and what not! I know when i was there if you swore it wasn't just the dinner ladies that frowned on it but all your friends too! ... it wasn't cool to swear it was totally oppersit to that but now it's in there every day language, they hear it at home 9 times out of 10 and that few percent here it on the tv and all that! but there we go!

had a wicked day at school today :) thankfully indoors cuz apparently there was a fight out on the play ground today! lol but inside was a good day! not too much mess other than a few bits of sweet corn all over the floor! but it was pizza, pasta or shepards pie day (there was some gammon there too!) so all was pretty much eaten with in few mins! lol so it was a very quick run thru the cards calling people in and i think i gave out the most amount of stickers i have done all week! lol loads of clean plates today! i also found some stickers that said i ate more today! to encourage those that don't eat all that much but they ate a bit more than yesterday! :D

so all's good at the moment! still havent heard from job centre or anything but we shall see cuz got meeting on 24th! so will see what they have to say about things then! (if i'v not heard before hand!)

right! got to go :) chat tomorrows some point :)

Hi hatz

Glad the day went well.

Yes, I have heard the word gay used as a general insult, you were right to nip it in the bud. As you say, they hear so much on Tv these days. When my eldest was at primary school I went in once to complain about the language he had picked up ad they denied there was a bad language problem. With my youngest, he was awware of trouble between his dad and me and during that troubled time I did not monitor their Tv viewing and he picked up a couple of choice phrases. The way I chose to handle it was to pretend to mis-hear him. So when he said "P*** off!" I said "No we haven't got pizza for tea today, it is fish fingers" Of course I had to repeat this process many mnay times but it certainly worked in the end.....you have not got time to do this with the kids at school but it could be a helpful technique at home for anyone.

So your Job Centre meeting is on Monday?

I do the same with the Scouts with the bad language - and you can see my youngest smirking, as this is what I do at home.  It does make them think though - at least so far it has.

oh! it's been fun today! Undecided the head teacher decided to come give us a hand in the dinner hall! which yes was good for the extra eyes and everything but it was just like she was watchin over us all the time! which i guess would be about right when any sort of boss comes in! lol we have a strickt 3 tables dinners and 3 tables sandwhiches (when i say 3 tables i do mean 3 rows of about 4 tables! lol not just 3 tables for sandwhiches and dinners! hehe) but she was there runnin round puttin me and the other dinner lady kind of out of routine with what we do! every 5 mins she was there sayin have we got the next lot of dinners in? i was like i don't actually know cuz the other dinner lady is dealing with that! i'm dealing with the trays and tables! so i kept having to ask the other lady weather she'd sent out or not! lol but there we go! still managed to get them all in and sorted! so was good ... still didnt finish till 1/4 past 1 but there we go! it's all the extra bits that you end up with at the end of the day clearing up and the such! THANKFULLY! we only have to stack the chairs of which we had a bunch of "naughty" children in today so they were told to stack them! hehe! ut when it was all over and done with i had to then run get me coat and bag, run round the front of school sign in as a parent and start reading wtiht he children! 10 mins late but when i'm in the dinner hall it's only to be expected! :) all done now for this week! am on Jounior toilets next week in the wind tunnle as we call it! lol (between 2 buildings and the wind just runs straight thru!) but least is slightly easier than the hall! (not that that is really hard work!)

yeh got job centre on monday! and am really peed off with them! :( had a letter thru today, we need more info please can you send us your january pay slip by the 27th jan? ... i don't get paid till the 28th so pay slip wont be till the 30th! so i phone them and say no i wont be able to do this blah blah blah! and she said well send it us when you got it and have a coverin letter with it! so i was like ok. what about the fact that i'v got 3 months wages on 1 letter coming to me??? she was like why's that then so i had to explain the problem in fact that i'd not been paid for the last 2 months of work! so there's goin to be nov, dec and jan on there, plus the extra i did when i did 3 days cleaning! (not that i told them that!) and she was like can you get them to do them seprately? i said i don't know cuz i work for a school i don't get paid from them i get paid from county hall! so she said would you be able to ask them tomorrow? i said no.... it's a SCHOOL! it'll have to wait till monday now! after a few more mins she said is that everything then? i said well i'v had nothing but touble tryin to set income support up! no money since 27th december and a lil man that needs new shoes and dinners which is £9.50 a week as i'm not claiming income support yet i cant get free school meals but yeh thats everything! and put the phone down! i'v had enought of them and monday there goin to know about it! i'm not goin to raise my voice or anything just sit there and talk and talk and talk about everything that i need to do and need to get and waiting for all this money to be able to do it with! .... on the plus side theres a nice giant pool of money heading my way at some point when we add it all together! lol

right! i think i'm goin to crawl in to bed! kinda cold but yet sat next to the radiator! lol

chat soon xx xx

(don't ask why cuz i just don't know! lol) so i got to now wait for that to turn up in the post so can phone HMRC back and say right this is what i got! lol they want that info before the 31st so hopefully i'll be able to get it so can phone that thru! while i was on phone to local tax people when the lady at school looked at my wage slip she said that i'd payed too much tax on it!  so as this came back in to my head i asked about it and the lady on the end of the phone said sorry you'v payed the right amount of tax so no money heading back to you there! so just said ah well! worth a try! lol :)

the rest of the day ... well it's been pretty good really! :) ... didnt get out of bed till about 9am! hehe! then got monster his breakfast at 9:45! (oops i did actually forget about it! but he never says when he's hungry, and will just sit there till you say do you want something to eat? or arnt you hungry?!) then went in to town to get a few things that we needed! mum made us a choc fondoo (duno how to spell it!) for our pudding today so had to get strawberries and banana's and the choc! lol so we had that bubbling away in the middle of the table while we ate tea which i think did make my son eat more than what he usely would do! :) hehe!

when we got back from town my son has been on about making cakes since he saw one of the cookin progs on the tv so i found me mum's choc cake mix out and made that in to yummy little cup cakes! :) decorated them with the rest of the jazzy sweets we brought in town and some glitery sprinkles only made 36! lol but they are mini cup cakes but they are YUMMY! :)

then other than that we'v watched WALL.E and The BEE movie today which i recorded at christmas! :) which kept both me and my son amuzed for most the afternoon! :)

as for tomorrow i got 3 rabbits to sort out! and 4 birds and a cat! so it's animal day tomorrow! got to sort monsters landrover out and see if can charge it up some how! my step dad keeps telling me to do it, but yet hasn't shown me how to do it! so we shall see tomorrow! have just been told parents are off out tomorrow so might be a day to meself! :D

well i shall be back on tomorrow some point! so will see whats been what tomorrow! hehe! :) chat soon x

Well I hope they get sorted at the tax office and send you the figure.

The cooking sounds fun, I bet he liked the sweets on top. Don't envy you sorting out all the animals today though. Did your parents go for their day out?

aww bless ya sparklinglime! but yeh there are a few parts in the film that pull the old heart strings! lol

parents went out for a little bit and came back after buying a freelander! i tell ya what my step dad cant go any where with out buying a landy of some sort!!! we went to a car boot brought a few bits ... and a landrover! haha!!! (the chap would have had a good carbooty day selling that at least!) but yes they came back with a freelander yesterday! so they only went out for a little while but it's all good! :D meant i could get on and do the things i wanted/needed to do and when they were back it was all sorted out! :D I ended up making tea last night as my mum couldn't be bothered! :O haha! my step dads idea on making tea is chuck his stuff in then come in and say i don't know what to do for you lot! so i thought it be best for me to make tea! so we ended up with cheesey buger things and roasted veggies and a quickly made salad as put the stuff on me plate and thought hum! needs something else on it! lol step dad had chicken so he was easy really! lol

well had a phone call from job centre and she said she's been looking at my case and they'v not got any furter along the lines of things (needing more info from me but cant do till i get it!) so she said there's no point comin in! i'm no further along now than what i was a last week :( it's SOOOOOOO annoying! but i still got to go over coalville to get my son some trainers as i really cant keep putting his old ones on him! so we'll go for that and see one of my best friends while there! i got £30 in my hand so can get them for him today! lol My mum's been paying for my son's school dinners recently and today i asked her for £1 as i had the other 90p (1.90 a day!) and she actually told me she's goin to pay for his dinners till i'm sorted out :D so that's a t least one thing of my mind! :D i don't have to pay the 9.50 a week for him to have dinners! and of course i don't have to pay at all when income support have sorted them selfs out! as he will be able to go on to FREE school meals! :D

well i better get sorted goin to grab my dinner now as i wont have that much time work to get it! so goin to get sorted out and head off for the afternoon!

hope your all well :) chat probably tonight! :)

well lets do a quick update as to job centre!

went in yesterday to find out whats happaning and where and why! lol so the lady looks thru things and trys to work everything out! find out that coalville jc has done there part and shut my jsa down! but the main office people hadnt done there part and shut it down on the mains systum so it was still open! :O so that meant that income support couldnt get there part any further than what it was!

so had a call from the main people about 20 mins ago askin what was what and everything else so i told him what i could and he said right did you fill in a jsa3? i said whats one of them? i'v filled in a few forms and i don't actually know what i filled in! so gave him my nat. insurance number and he looked thru the systum and said he'll give me a phone back (obv's he couldnt find things either!) 10 mins later i did actually get a phone call back and he said right! i'v found you jsa3 and i'm prossesing it now and you will get the money ... £4.71 :O sent to your bank today which should appear in on tuesday! :O £4.71 :O but you havent payed me since 29th DECEMBER well i cant do anything about that. so yes you'v lost a bit of money there but now this part has shut down income support will be able to get a move on and sort that out and you will get your payments from the 11th jan back dated!

so thats at least one thing! might mean that i have to wait another 5weeks for this £250 to come to me as they have only just shut the main jsa down on my profile but i'v got the lady phoning me today to see whats happend with jsa person and see what she's found out from her end! and see if we can get a move on! told the chap on the phone who said that there wasn't much of a differance in the money between jsa and income, it's just the fact that i don't have to go in ever 2week to sign on! i said well it would have made a big differance cuz i wouldnt of had to spend the £5.20 to get to coalville on the bus and could have put that towards something else instead!

OMW! i told the chap on the phone at the beging of convo that i was tryin to claim for income support cuz i'm a LOAN parent... but later on he said dose your partner work .... i said NO! i'm a LOAN PARENT! he gose... oh sorry! cuz you said you'v got a son i thougth you were with someone! ... well! yes i was WITH someone 4YRS ago! death man!

ah well i got to go work now! :) chat laters x

Their mistake Hatz, and they need to be sorting this.  If you weren't living at home, you really would be in such a state!

That's the worse thing about IS is the fact that even if you're in the jobcentre with a query, the staff still have to dial the same number and go through the same hassle we do to speak to someone.

Did they not phone through the claim from the job centre?  Your claim should be back dated to then.  Sorry, but I thought they had sorted out both together?

Imagine if you were waiting to pay your rent!!!

I am so sorry you are having this trouble. I agree with sparkling that your claim should be backdated. See here for how to lodge a complaint, look at the section about standards.

Hope you are Ok this evening

There goin to back date my claim for IS but not for the jsa! so from the 29th dec to the 7th jan i did the work for them they wanted me to do and they arnt goin to pay me for the 2 or 3 weeks there! i was on jsa income based for about 2 days so thats the £4.71 or something like that he told me bout!

but yes the IS is being back dated to the 11th jan from when i first phoned thru and claimed it and should hear about that soon! got a letter coming from job centre lady in coalville to say bout next meeting with her! so just got to wait AGAIN and see! she cant understand whats gone wrong and where and why. she says she's not come across any one's claim thats taken so long as mine! so there's always a first!

and yes it's a bloody good job that i dont live in my own house at the moment and everything like that else i'd be in even more of a mix up than i'm in now!

(did i say at some point! that school has payed ALL my money they owed me up to date now! :D so there all sorted just got one extra pay to come in the feb pay pack to come then thats everything they owe me up to date!)
