Home-Start Bristol

We are a charity supporting families in Bristol and South Glos who are struggling to cope with family life. We match families who have at least 1 child under 5 with trained volunteers (with parenting experience) who visit the family weekly for 2-3 hours offering practical and emotional support.

We run 3 volunteer 'preparation' courses a year for new volunteers -  training which is accredited to the Open College Network - with the opportunity to gain a Level 2 qualification. We are looking for volunteers with parenting experience able to offer 2-3 hours a week.
