Grassroots - Luton

Grassroots has been in Luton, running ecumenical, educational and inter faith programmes, working alongside churches in their mission and ministry, supporting community initiatives, and providing interfaith work to build a plural society in Luton and around the UK. Grassroots works in partnership with Churches Together in Luton, the Bury Park Beech Hill Council of Churches, Luton Council of Faiths and Ghar se Ghar (Hindi/Urdu words for ‘Home to Home’ - a Women’s Co-operative).

There work is currently catorgorised into three broad groups - 

• Inter Faith Relations
• Spirituality of Justice
• Inter Faith Work with Women

Their work includes:

• Learning opportunities to enhance mutual appreciation and befriending
