OH MY WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have just realised that my son has 16 days left at nursery Surprised i'v always said he's got so many weeks and that but i just thought i'd work it out in days and found that it's only 16 days it puts it in to a whole new catagory! makes it more official in a way! lol

bless him he's 4 goin on 14 sometimes! he's so cleaver and wants to do everything by him self that i sometimes have to remind him that he's only 4 and while wanting to do things him self he still sometimes has to have a little help!!! he wanted to make a cup of tea for everyone earlier and i said ok then come on we'll go do it together and he said no  by my self mummy!!! so we had a little talk about the hot water and he was still insisting by him self and i said look all i'm goin to do for you is pour the hot water in to the mugs you can do the rest! he still wasnt a 100% happy bout it but let me pour the water in at lest! lol

he's also started playin in his room a lot more which i'm pleased about cuz it means he dont get me step dad goin on at him bout his toys or being under his feet all the time and gives him that independance in life to learn a few things for him self!! altho when i got to his room tonight i found he managed SOMEHOW!! to pull his set of draws out of the little whole and was goin thru them!! i dont know how he managed it as there's a HUGE bag of books on there waiting to go to shop and he moved it with that on top!! when i tried to push it back it was a case of takin the bag off and then movin it! haha

we'v had a good day with him today cuz he got his bike back from his grandad mending it and he's loved bein back on it :D we went for a good ride in to town and around the park and he's had the best day out in a long time :D it's been so long since he was last on it and everything! that him gettin it back was almost like him gettin a new bike all together :D

well i'm goin to be loggin of from here! hope you all have fun this is my first post on this page but i have posted on others! lol i'm hatz 26 and have a 4yr old son :D live with me me and step dad and pretty much have a steady relationship with them :D my son gose off to nursery for now and will be starting school in sept which is only at the top of the estate! so not far to go at all!!! my son has autsitic tendancies were goin thru all the paperwork and what not to get it actually diagnosed on paperwork so when he's at schools and things it's all official and they know what to look out for! his dad left us when i was pregnant and i have tried to work things out when my son was younger but nothing came off it, now my son has dropped the i want my daddy note on me and after some searchin and finding out things i didnt really want to know about but glad i'v found out i have decided not to get involved with him again till my sons a lot older and understands! :D

any ways chat soon

Hello hatz

Good to hear from you. Glad your son had such a lovely day out on his bike and playing in his room, they are into everything at that age.

Woah! only a few days at nursery to go when you count them like that. Time passes so quickly, although sometimes when we are down, it seems to drag, it is almost as if we blink and they grow up overnight. So it won't be long before he CAN make you a cup of tea!

I think you're really wise trying to get some paperwork done about your son's health before starting school. That way., any extra provision will be sorted out (hopefully! I can see Pansy shaking her head at this point), well you can but try.

Hope your week will go well, hatz. Did you go down to that event at Coalville?

Hi Hatz. Is your son looking forward to going to 'big' school? Kids certainly do like their own independence at an early age, and it's also very good for them. You will also notice that the teachers treat them far more like 'little adults' than we do as their parents!!! When my son first started, he was given the job of collecting the register from the office. I was horrified to think he was 'roaming' around a school with just another 4 year old!!! I had never let him out of my sight before, and there he was doing all sorts of jobs for the teachers. C is just going into the junior school, and it so much bigger, but I'm sure I'll adapt to the BIGGER jobs he'll be given hehe.

Hope you have a good day, am sure you have plenty to keep you busy. Is your son at the nursery today?

hehe! i remember the days of collecting the registers use to think we were really grown up!! (well ok yes we were cuz it was having to do a job to do from the teacher and if we didnt do it, it wouldnt have been good news really!) in about yr 3 we were aloud to go get the school bell ... now that was a bigger job than the registers!! there was also one day in yr 5 that our teacher set me and my friend the job of finding her glasses! :D as she had lost them and wouldnt have been able to get home that night if we didnt find them and as we finished all our work set out for us that day she sent me and my friend out to find them and we did!! they were by the photocopier! :D!!! happy memories from school time! :D i loved that school and i really hope that my son dose too!

Little man today has been at nursery and has been counting spots on dice and putting the amount of ladybirds in to his basket!! (obv has done more than that but thats the only comment in his book today!!) he's a little monkey first thing in the morning some times as he decides to play up on me but i let him have 5 mins playin then say right i'm off now and if he decides to follow me i grabb his hand and pass him over to one of the teachers! and say i'm goin now! lol he knows he can only go so far and then i just tell him that it's not aloud really! .. theres no point!!

me today had a day working with children :) got a head ache now but there we go! big residants confrance in beaumontleys NSPCC all the lovely children from various back grounds (mostly some sort of abuse) there first language was not english! so it was pretty fun tryin to communicate with them! but we got there in the end! lol just about only had to phone thru to one parent to say there child wasnt settling down and she would have to come back and settle her for us! we had an entertainer (clown) come in and she did most ... everything that we had planned out! lol so we (the workers) have had a pretty easy day! lol i was meant to be doin facepainting but this lady came in and was straight in the painted every childs face in about 5 mins :O haha! whoop! i'm not sayin anything! :D she did teach me how to make the balloon dog today so i have learnt something off her! she wouldnt tell me how she did one of her magic tricks tho :( so i'm goin to be looking up how to do that just for the knowlage of it! hehe! fun times!

so had a pretty good day really! least i'v not been sat at home on me todd doin nothing! lol (not that i do nothing! lol) tomorrow mr man is at nursery again and i'm takin a little rabbit to the VETS to see what i can do for the little dot! lol it's got a twisted neck and just wondering if there was any sort of physio that i could do with it or something or if it's just going to be something it's got to live with for the rest of it's lop sided life!!!!!!!! (but it dose have a home to go to of which they will be keeping it inside free roam in the kitchen!)

any ways Mr man is in bed! parents will be going at 9 and i will be shortly after that see how long i can keep my eyes open for! lol (you can prob tell i'm tired by the amount of mistakes i keep making! lol)

shall catch you all another day hope that your all well and your children are doing well to! have you got any plans for the rest of the sommer hols or just letting what happends happen! lol

Hello hatz

You had a very eventful day! I am sure the children appreciated it. Let us know about the rabbit, hopefully the vet will be able to suggest something.

You could practice and learn one or two magic tricks of your own over the summer!

Hi hatz. I brought a pack of those balloons to make animals, and just couldn't do it, so am well impressed that you can. I pretended that I was buying them to entertain my son, but secretly they were for me, hehe. Sounds like you had a fun day. Hope the rabbit is ok.

You mention that you were working with some children from NSPCC, is that something you do regularly?  It must be very fulfilling?

hiya everyone! lol couldnt find the balloons :( not fair (but my son seems to have forgotten bout it! so not said anything since!!)

the NSPCC work was just for the day really but if anything else comes up anywhere down the line i genrally get nominated for it! lol :)

the rabbit well if i could remember the name that the VETS gave me that it's condition is called i'll tell you! lol but as i cant remember the name of it as it was about 20 letter long i'm a bit stuck! lol basicly it's a parasite thats bitten my little rabbit and knocked it's ballance off in it's head so it's got a lop sided head now! he said it might go back to being normal but most likely be left with it and they lead a normal life with a loppy head!!! lol

today i had little miss and mr man to look after (well my son went off to nursery at 1 so wasnt too bad!!) and this afternoon there was a play day on the park in town so there was mega amounts goin on so i took little miss down there and she's done everything there was to do! :D so i'v had an easy easy day! lol this morning i did ALL the iron other than 1 wash load but as it's all my son's jeans that are in there i think i can get away with out ironing them!!! (which is best!lol)

any ways i got to go make ... cook dinner! lol pizza chips and salad tonight! :D easy night! whoop!

ah thats good news then :) i have noticed that it was starting to look better than what it was doin and were only on day 2 of meds! so will just see what happends! the vets gave us some info bout it and after reading i'm glad i took it down cuz it was sayin bout it will go on to have fits then will drop in to a coma etc so glad i took it in! the other rabbits seem to be fine that are in the same cage but i was told to treat them too just incase it's got them in a differnt way got to up the cleaning of the cage but got a slight prob there cuz i havent got and sawdust at the moment! but there we go will have some by the week end (i hope any ways!) ((just put my order in with me mum!!)) got stuff to spray in the cage to kill what ever could be in there but best thing would be to get a new cage! but i dont really have the money for that (well to get the one i need!) i got a double cage but i'v blocked the 2 levels off so it's 2 seprate areas as we have daddy rabbit down stairs and mummy and 2 babies up stairs! which works out really good! but could do with a new one!!!!

i got the 4 older babies in another hutch and a young boy in another slightly smaller hutch! lol all fun fun fun! (yes thats 4+1+3+1 rabbits!!!) 3 chickens and 6 budgies oh and my cat!!!! lol it's like a farm out side in our backgarden!!! but it's all good give my son an appritionation of animals and as he says those are MY chickens yoou don't touch them and get there eggs! there MINE!!!!!!!!!!!! bless his little 4yr old cotten socks! lol  he told me off for feeding my cat today! lol ok yes i had given him that job to do but he was playin with a lady bird and my cat was meowing at my feet so i had to sort her out!!!

Hi hatz

You certainly have a few animals there. One of my son's friends keeps a pig in their back garden! whereas I personally found a goldfish too much responsibility Embarassed

Hi hatz what a menagerie you have!  Have you looked on Freecycle or in your local paper for a bigger hutch? You might find one at a reasonable price?

Glad to read that your rabbit seemed to be a little better yesterday, i hope each day brings more recovery.

Its lovely that your son has decided to take on the responsibility of feeding the animals!

What are youup to today?

hehe! fun times in our back garden! me mum wanted a couple of pigs but the councle wouldnt alowe it so we ended up with the chickens instead! (which pretty much eat like pigs do! (any scrapss of food from meal times get put in there pot and taken down to them!!!))

we use to be on freecycle web sites but we got fed up with all the emails that kept being sent in to us and all the time wasters on there! but someone in coalville has set up a simular site on facebook so we use that all the time and get some good things from it! :D

we went swimming today (i was hoping that it would ware the kids out!! fat chance (as they say round here!) wore me out more so and i was struggling to keep me eyes open!! lol but did tell little miss that we'd go next thrusday as well so it's going to be fun week next week too! :D i'm quiet proud of me self (in a way!) the little girl i'v been looking after always come to me with really messy hair as though no one has brushed it, so after swimming we stood in the showers and i washed and brushed her hair! :D i brought my teatree spray with me (ok i was on a mission!!) and i told her that i was goin to do it after she'd stood there in the showers for about 5 mins! lol and so i brushed it and it looked good after that! :D we then went down to the other changing area as the swimming one was full and i sorted my hair out and told her that i needed to do hers a bit more as there was still a little bit of knots in it and so i got her to stand in front of the mirror and did her hair with the spray and my brush and she just stood there and let me do it :D whoop whoop i couldnt beleive 1 she let me do it and 2 how long her hair actually is!! lol as it's usualy a frizz bomb and after i brushed it it came down to here mid shoulders :D was good!

:D ok i admit the little things in life amuze me and keep me interested and make me happy! :D

That sounds like fun, hatz, I love swimming but of course when you go with the kids you can't just pound up and down like Flipper, you have to watch them like a hawk. Sounds like the little girl might start taking an interest in her hairdo now!

I am not sure whether the council actually knows about my son's friend's pig. They bought it as a micro-pig but they were cheated, I think, as it has now grown massive.

What have you got planned for today? I was just thinking that if you had a rainy day when you are looking after the little girl, you could pretend to have a hairdressing salon with her?

Hatz!

I've tried wearing mine out too, taking them up the mountains, down the beach and it's me that gets worn out, me and the dog. The other week we went for an all day trek across the mountains, at one point towards the end I yanked on the dogs lead to make her heal and she fell over and couldn't get up for a few seconds she was that exhausted, she just lay there sort of walking in the air, lying on her side with her legs feebly trying to  get back up, poor thing, when we got home she just lay on the floor and fell asleep, much like me.

We walked fifteen miles to a friends house recently and then he bought us back in his van, when we got home I drank a glass of wine and lay on my bed exhausted and my kids were jumping up and down on me until I would get up and take them to the shop.

I'm seriously considering hash cookies as a form or traquilizer.

haha yup it's always us that get warn out! took my son swimmin agin today and he's loved it! :) again! lol i gave him the option off either Twycross Zoo or swimming and he did say he wanted to go to the zoo but after i did the shopping i didnt have enought money for the bus so i said i'll take him when i got a few pennies so we enden up in the swimmin pool which is even better for me with my son bein under 5 and me with my pass i dont have to pay a penny out to them :D whoop whoop! :D

so am warn out again! lol i even got on the wrong (well semi worng!) bus home!! i say semmi wrong cuz it's the right bus but it was goin round the other estates first then on to ours! lol but the bus driver dosent mind so much cuz he could see that we were tired and everything :) and i didnt have to pay the extra for my little mistake!!! my son did fall asleep on the bus for 2 mins before some little brats shouted for the bus to stop and scared him and woke him up :( but he did lie down on the settee for an hr while i went and sorted me rabbits out! :) so he's rested at least! unlike me! lol always busy doin everything!!! sorted the rabbits and chickens out changed beds, fed, and medicated! lol need some more sawdust to clean the chickens out but there not too bad as they did get done last weekend! lol

i should think you friend was a bit cheated if went for a micro pig and ended up with a huge pig! but there we go! i once brought a drawf hamster and well after 3 months of havin it it got called big bear!!! lol it was HUGE! bigger than a normal sized hamster!!! lol so it got the name of big bear! lol bless it,. itwas the best treated hamster ever! i could pick it up and handle it what ever time of day/night it was and it wouldnt bite me unlike most  the others i had! lol but as soon as me mum went near it it bit her! lol i ended up givin her to someone else as my son kept gettin bitten by her so i decided to give her to someone else who informed me the other day that it had passed away with breathing problems and lung infection :( poor thing well it's done well cuz i had it for 7 months and they'v had it for 18 months so was an old hamster in hamster terms!!! they live to about 2!! llol so a month older than there expected to live for :)

any ways i'm goin to get going now really tired and hope to not fall asleep but if my son dose theres no stopping me! haha!!! :)

watching gigglebizz so my son's glued to the tv!! :)

(1/2 dead!!! and she said it was the best she's ever done!!! so she went home with a seed tray pack! lol) and there was the mayer standing there looking at me and my son saying you'v got first place! :D AMAZING! :D and they were really impressed with the folder work too! there was 1 other folder that got returned and it wasnt half as good as ours! (not bosting MUCH! haha) were as i'd taken the time to do pictures that my son and i had drawn and put them in every other page i'd done him a front page too :D so i was aiming to catch someones eye with it hehe! and that i did! :D lol it got round to the photo for the paper and my son stood there for the first time ever with his thumb in his mouth! hahahaha! not even i could get a smile out of him! hahahahhaha! so i dont know what this photo will be like till it's in the paper next week some point! haha! fun times and lots of happy faces!

(sorry this is a long post! just thought of something else to put in cuz it's been happaning out side the house today and the last few weeks!)

we'v had new people move in 2 houses down and they all ready think they own the place! think they can come and go as they please! horrible people really. the family over the road who has lived here for coming up to a yr now have always parked out side what is now there house as the previous tenant said that they could but now these new people are here they cant! (which is understandable!) the first time when over the roads parked out side there house the man came stoming out and threatened him with parking etc and were goin to do something bout it! thankfully me and me step dad were out there when he said it and could back over the road up BIG TIME... so now over the road park out side next doors house and she's now started off on one :( grr! sayin that he's blockin the drive and all that she phoned us this morning askin if we knew his name as we'v made friends with them and she wanted to know his name! well first thing in the mornig we couldnt think of it so said no! ... bout an hr or so later next thing we know the local police man was coming round with the houseing officer :O she'd only gone and phoned them and asked them to come round :O SHOCKING so we'v had a bit of fun! lol police man and H.offier went round next doors and then over the road of which came out that they were parked over her drive and everything (they were parked on the drop down curb section and not over the flats!) and were told to move the car well the chap that owns the car was still in bed and his mrs cant move it as not got liance for driving! so she just said that they'll move it when they go out! (they dont go out till 5pm haha!) but it aint half gettin perfectic round here! over the road said that when we get our drive in properly and everything is sorted we have givin them pomision to park partly over our drive cuz we'd just go out at an angle and it wont bother us at all! and the H.Officer went off sayin "and WHO gave you permision to do that?" over roads said the family over there "WELL i'll have to find that out and if it's ok with them first!" :O that is shocking! we have given them permision to do that cuz we knew the parking is bad and we dont want to fall out with them cuz there a decent family for once! then the lady next door when me mum came home waved and smiled at her and me mum just looked away cuz she is such a 2faced person at the moment it's untrue we'v been friends with her since day one of living here and when my mum was about to have me she helped us out no end but now it just seems as tho she's looking for more touble than worth YellFrownCry

on the plus side! i'm HAPPY! :D (sorry bout this being such a long post xxxxxx)

Glad you're happy.

It's strange how it can take one household to disrupt the previously harmonious estate - happened here....

That's excellent news about your son, bet you were so proud!

As for the neighbours, it is true that one new family can cause that much hassle. And yet really, if everyone was just considerate of other people then there would be no need for any argy bargy. People get very territorial about parking, and yet as long as they are on a public road with no official restrictions then they can park anywhere. The dropped kerb thing is debatable, you are not supposed to park there but I have seen lots of people do so as long as they are not blocking anyone in/out. Maybe the housing association needs to draw bays and number them so that they are allocated to different flats/houses, hatz?

Our housing association had a meeting where tenants could drop in with their queiries.  One was to allocate parking spaces.  They refused as it can lead to more arguments than solving, they reckon.

if we had it our way we'd all have drive ways on the front of houses but the peopel over the road dont have that much of a front on theres so at a push could get the car on at an angle but would have a bit of trouble gettin it off again! lol it's only our side of the road that has enough space to get drives put in! it all seems to be quiet today thankfully when i see over the roads out later i'll pop out and see if there ok too! they did pull right back to our landy last night so they should have been fine this morning! lol. i am still suprised that they didnt come down ours to ask us questions as to what we thought was going on! but in the other hand i'm glad they didnt! lol

i just managed to drop off on the settee to have my son wake me up and say mummy i just hurt my face on mamar's computer so i kinda rubbed it better but now the marks have come up i havent a clue what he's actually done! cuz he's got a mark above his eye brow and then 2 marks on his cheek! haha! not as bad as the bruise on his foot! god knows how he managed that one! lmao! bad enought tryin to work out my bruises yet alone any one elses! lol

swimming this morning was good :D fun times! my son only drowned twice! haha! (went under water and came up coughing and splutering!) the second time he did it he'd nicked someones swim ring and decided he wanted to sit in it so put him in and he lost his ballance and went back wards in to the water haha! bless him thankfully i was right there next to him as he didnt have his arm bands on to bring him back up to the top bless him! sat him on the side for 5 mins and he was fine after that! :D

hum... it looks very dark out side today it's all ready chucked it down once just as we came out the pool and it looks like it's goin to do it again soon! haha

shall be back later on :)

well as i said it went VERY dark! lol then my son started to sing i hear thunder i hear thunder! haha! yup sure enough it started thundering! :D i hated it as a kid but i forced my self to be ok with it! lol and now i dont head for the covers when it starts but i do actually sit at the window and watch the skys and all the different shapes it makes! and it's rubbed off on my son too! :D he's still not keen on lightning but least he's fine with the thunder! lol i wanted it to lighten more than just the one flash it did  so we could watch it a bit more together but it was only the one flash so we couldnt but i did sat with him and watched the thunder storm together! :D he loved it! the people accross the road came out and there lad came up to our window and i was talkin to him about the storm with excitement in my voice and was sayin did you see that storm we had :D and the lad (copies voice enthusiasum) say yes! it was good his mum in the back ground was looking a bit warn out and said that wasnt what he was like when it was on! hehe! (so i take it he didnt like it!)lol bless um!

yeh i'm goin to keep an eye out for the mettures (if thats how you spell it!) i dont think we'r that far off from being able to see them so if there good i'll grab me camera and do a bit of shooting me self! lol (sorry cheesey joke i know!) has to be done! hehehe! doubt i'll actually see any! knowing my luck i'll be lookin out the front window and all the fun will be at the back window! haha!

right! i'm waitin for my (pretty much) sister to come on line (hugely best friend!) so i can see what she's up to and everything she's bout 10 wks pregnant with her 2nd :D and she's over the moon cuz she's been tryin for over 2yrs! and she couldnt under stand why she hadnt had all the usual monthly women things and 2 people had commented sayin that she looked like she was gettin a belly on her! haha! so i told her (well commanded!) to get a test and that she did and next thing she phoned me to say that it's come up possitive! :D she's had her first scan all ready (lucky thing!) hehe and she's got another one at about 15wks i SOOOOOO cant wait till mid/end march next yr! (that is unless it decides to come out early and i would be extramly happy if it comes out on the 3rd of march! :D (i'll let her off from gettin me a bday pressy and what not if it did!!!!))

Hi hatz

That sounds exciting about your friend's baby. It's good there are more opportunities for scans. When I had mine (in Victorian times Wink) you got a scan at 18 weeks and that was your lot, unless they had a major concern such as the position of the placenta.

Your swimming sounded fun, if a bit hectic. Your son is certainly enjoying life at the moment. What does today hold for you?

today is a VERY broing day today :( my son came in to my room before 6 and all i said to him was you feel cold babe and put the covers over him! haha! then he woke me up at 6:36 and said mummy is it time to get up yet? i looked at my phone and said no darling but he was wide awake so i put the TV on for him while i had a bit longer hehe! finely woke up at 7:45 :D whoop!

so i took him off to nursery and popped in to the local cafe where i help out on the odd days :D managed to get 2 FREE cuppa's out of them! hehe! :D whoop! (go in before time! :D) then at about 10am i went and headed for the bus! and headed home!

this afternoon i'm sitting and wiating! and waiting! and waiting! and waiting! lol waiting for the councle man to turn up and just so we can ask if we can take the old tiles of the wall and put new ones up! LMAO! (yes you have to ask to change tiles here!) but there we go! lolthen were goin to ask about the sink if we can get that changed as it's got a few cracks in it now! (it has been in since the start of the days with this house! good 50yrs!) and the fact that the cold tap has not worked since i was about 5yrs old (now 26!) and we need a new hot tap on the bath! and we'v got a shower screen now instead of a shower curtain! lol so i'v just got to sit here and wait! lmao! well not exactly sit and do nothing i do just mean go out the house like i want to do! lol i'v cleaned the bath room out fully lol just looked and i got to put the things back in there place (soap things! lol) and i'v done with the bathroom! lol i got to wash the pots up and then it's on to the animals! lol

tomorrow i dont really know in the day what were up to but after 6pm were off to my brothers for an Indian meal! :D whoop! sunday i havent got a clue! lol see what the weather is like lol :D fun times

The tiles on my bathroom have been dropping of the bathroom all since I moved in which was Oct 2005.  They're 4" ones, and cost a bomb to buy.  I spent £180 on a box, and then told the housing assoc I couldn't afford anymore.

The bath isn't attached to the wall either, so water goes down through the floor, and runs down the wall in the kitchen.  Totally ruined the new kitchen they put in when I moved in.  I have taped a value shower curtain around the wall, which does a good job - but looks appalling.

It's awful, and embarrasing.  They won't repair it now as they plan to replace all the kitchen's and bathrooms and put in gas central heating.  AAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

I do hope the man from the council comes and says yes.  I'm just wondering if, as Landlord, they should be sorting out the sink and the taps...

Yes, I think they should!

That's a good idea about a shower curtain, I did waterproof masking tape round my bath and it would go a bit rusty-looking and I would have to do it all again, have had the bath taken out now and just got a shower.

If and when you get the bathroom/kitchen done, do you have to move to somewhere else while the work is done? My friend did, when the York council did hers.

They have said that ideally they'd like us to move out, but in our case, I that will be impossible.

Working with a heating and plumbing firm (he's gone on holiday now, so I won't be sacked for at least 10 days!!), he reckons that there won't be a problem.  They regularly install heating on big council contracts, and have worked in some challenging conditions. Cool

well the man came and 2 mins later was out again! hahahaha! (takes the p*ss!) but yes to the tiles, yes to the sink, yes to the shower screen! :D so it's a full on YES! :D whoop! there goin to replace the sink as it's got a huge crack down and across it! lol and the cold tap dosent even shift and hasnt done in 21yrs! lol and were takin the makey shower curtain and rail down and have got a glass screen thing to go up in it's place! :D so it's all good! lol

when we had our central heating done (well new boiler cuz had a back boiler behind our fire and there now illigal!) so got a gloworm but cuz my son was 11wks he was still having bottles and all that i took the kettle and 2 2ltr bottles of water so i could still make me self drinks and my son's bottles up thru the day and they were complaining that they'd been there all day and not had a drink! LMAO! told them that i'd just got enough water for my 11wk old son and for me to have about 2 cups of tea! so go get stuffed! haha! theres abottle of coke down there you can have (it had been open for just over a week so was flat as a pancake! hahahahaha) but i wernt having it! lol they'd come in and turned our heating, hot water and all that off for over 3 weeks (thankfully 4yr ago it was the hot summer so wasnt too bad that they had turned it off!) but still they turned it off i had to go to someone else house if i wanted a bath or to bath my baby! so i wernt goin to then let them nick the water i had put to one side for them to have a cuppa! lol

well we'v had fun tonight! me mum's landy broke down just outside coalville so she's limped of the roundabout and phoned her hubby up and had to wait for them to come get her! lol the chaps have just turned up to take the landy away! lol (well about an hr ago! lol) but they just had fun tryin to get the landy off the road and on to the truck as it wouldnt even start this time round! oops! the fan belt (we think!) has been shreaded and a load of nuts and bolts have all come off :O so were gona take photos of the engine as we only brought it brand new last week after it had been off the road for a month as the old engine decided to blow up! :(
the filter on the bt vision box has blown up too! :( so we now not got a TV till tuesday when the new filters come :( grrrrrrrrrrrrrr and i'm missing the best prog on a fri night to watch! arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i'm goin to down the rest of me cuppa and head in to bed where my TV WORKS! :D whoop!

haha! nighty night night and hope all your bathrooms and kitchens get sorted out and yes to the sink and everything they should sort it out too any probs you have they SHOULD sort out! lol xxx

I wonder why it is a no? You would think that now your disability has been acknowledged that some provision could be made...is it worth having a word with the Occuaptional Therapist or have you already been down that route?

Yes, been down that route, unfortunately.  I think a shower is more practical anyway with a family this size - not like four people could have a bath with from a hot water cylinder, even with a boost.
