Ahhh the pictures with the lioness and the baby are rather sweet, it did look like the lioness was protecting the baby though who knows what would have happened if the father had not seen a chance and come to the rescue! Thanks for sharing that Bubblegum Smile

Yes! Maybe she was just saving him for later, maybe the whole thing was much like when my mum used to keep her marsbar collection in the fridge and then attack anyone who went near them : (

Yes, maybe that and not as I hoped a display of the inate predisposition most mamals have to nuture and protect little cute babies : (

Here is another unexpected happy animal story!

Ahh they are lovely, I was actually worried that the dogs were going to be bait because they were chained up, but they became friends, awwww!

Its strange how the lioness can kill the baboon but still protect the dead female's young. How do we fair against this in wars? When our soldiers happen to kill innocent family members what do they do with the children?

I agree Anna it was sweet how the dogs and polar bear became friends, it did look like the lioness was protecting the baby, i would like to think it is how you first thought Bubblegum that she was nuturing and protecting.
