The Bosnia and Herzegovina Community Advice Centre seeks to enhance the quality of life for disadvantaged members of the elderly West Balkan community who arrived in London as refugees in the early 1990’s, specifically those in poverty and isolation. The Centre supports their diverse needs through the provision of welfare, educational and cultural services at a welcoming Centre for all people from West Balkan. Services include: General level Information, Advice and Guidance on; Welfare Benefit Rights, Housing, Community Care and Health. Outreach Work Fitness for Women Fitness for Men Yoga Classes for Women Social and Lunch Club Quarterly Awareness sessions and workshops on Health and Wellbeing Quarterly Cultural Events Quarterly Newsletter Spring/ Summer Outings
BREAD Youth Project run projects and activities for and with young people, to raise awareness of issues that are important to young people across Bristol. Projects include: Juicy Blitz - Juicy is a juice and smoothie bar in Lawrence Weston where young people aged 11-19 can meet up and get involved with projects and activities. Young advisors - Young people are at the heart of everything that BREAD does and so we need you to help us shape what we do.
Break, changing young lives supporting children, young people and families across East Anglia - Children and young people in care and moving on; children with disabilities; families in need of support and children at risk.
Breast Start is part of Cornwall Primary Care Trust, it aims to encourage and support breastfeeding. Contributes to local antenatal classes. Takes referrals from local health professionals. Home visits and telephone support. Can provide breast pumps on loan or at cost price.
Support for the whole family, including the elderly, with particular emphasis on the child and young single parents. Offers services including; Befriending, budgeting, counselling, home, hospital, B&B and prison visits, basic maths and English.
The Brentry & Henbury Children’s Centre provides a range of child care and support services to families living in the local community. The centre provides child centred care to children aged between 9 months to 5 years of age and offer a range of community groups alongside child-care. The nursery is open from 8.00am to 5.45pm, Monday to Friday.
Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project is run by the unemployed for the unemployed. The project provides practical support, education and recreation for people in poor housing, claimants, unwaged people and those on low incomes.

The Brigstowe Project is a Bristol-based charity for people living with or affected by HIV or AIDS. They provide floating support, together with advice and information, as appropriate to the needs of the person to improve their quality of life. BAND is an umbrella organisation which supports and develops childcare provision in and around Bristol. They provide services to childcare providers, people working with children, families and employers. As well as working locally, BAND also plays an active role in national initiatives in the fields of childcare, play provision and working parents' issues, working closely with key agencies.
