Single Parent Trip to Disneyland

londonmum

Hi. Not sure this is the right forum but here goes... I'm planning to take my kids (11 &13) to Disneyland, Florida summer 2010. However, was hoping to team up with some other single parent families as I think that may be more fun, economical and safe. Virgin are still offering reasonable flights but they're going faster than I thought. Ideally, I was hoping to rent a villa close to the park for the first week and spend it buried at Disney. After that, would like to move to another villa further down the coast for a further week relaxing on the beach. I've been away with the kids on my own before and while it's good, the evenings can be a little dull whilst they run off with other kids and I'm left in the bar with my book. If anyone else is interested, I'd love to hear from you. Happy to do most of the research and booking.

Hello londonmum :D

You may find it helpful to look at our holiday information, see this link: http://www.parentingalone.org.uk/useful-links/holidays/holidays

I know the first one on the list (Single Parent Travel Club) organises holidays abroad for groups of single parents and individuals can set up their own arrangements with other members

Hi

I'm a member of the single parent travel club and have organised a Florida trip at Easter but it's full. I know a few other members are looking an organising other trips later in year or in 2011...so worth perhaps joining it costs £10 (non profit making).
