PLEASE can something be done about the stupid bouncing of the page when you type a long post. I know typing in word and copy and pasting is an excellent idea, but when you're trying to reply to a post, as I've done with Sadsy, it's driven me bats! I very nearly gave up.

I'm having one hell of a weekend and have all of ten minutes before I have to take my neighbour out, and it's all been wasted on this.

PLEASE SORT IT OUT. IT'S GIVEN ME A HEADACHE.

Thank you :D

YES PLEASE!

I also had a nightmare when doing Sy's post & have had many frustrating moments in the past where I have spent so long because of page bouncing that I ended up loosing post totally because of time out! There have been many posts that I had written that I DID give up on & were never seen.

Thank you so much.

I do tend to do the 'word and copy and paste' thing when I know it's going to be long - but decided to be "clever" with Sy's!! And got so preoccupied with bouncing that it's not a very supportive answer really.

It's probably a good way to keep people like me to limiting their posts though   :D

I use Firefox and the lazarus plugin.

Never lose anything you type into a web form again! Lazarus securely auto-saves all forms as you type, so after a crash, server timeout, or whatever, you can go back to the form, right click, "recover form", and breathe a sigh of relief.

I've never heard of Lazarus.

I should use Firefox more often - I even have the icon on my desktop, so it's not even hard.

Thank you. :)
