BBC

Are you a one parent family? Fancy letting your children do something for you?!

Then the BBC wants to hear from you!

'Attack Of The Matchmakers' is a brand new series for the BBC that will put the children in charge of transforming your lifestyle (a little!). With the help of our team of experts they'll be in charge of giving you a day of pampering and a makeover. Then they get to play cupid and pick someone to send you on a fun night out with.

This could be their chance to change your look for a day, get you a new wardrobe, cut your hair or simply give you the pampering that you deserve. Then have fun letting them do a bit of matchmaking (with the help of us!). If you think you want to take part then please visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/help/tvhelp/beonashow_attackofthematchmakers.shtml or email kerry.western@bbc.co.uk for more information.

The closing date for Attack Of The Matchmakers applications is 30th June 2010, so make sure you get your application to us well before then.

We will consider everyone who applies equally, but cannot guarantee that everyone will be successful. Only people who have made it to the next round will be contacted by the production team.

The purpose of the casting process is to select teams to take part in Attack of the Matchmakers. The selection panel are looking to choose children to appear across the series that are different characters in terms of personality, age, ethnic background, gender, and ability, from all areas of the UK, both to represent the audience and to maximise the interest in the show by the audience. The panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Any application forms or photos sent in will only be used for casting for Attack of the Matchmakers.

We find and select children for our shows in many different ways. This can include special appeals on TV, auditions, websites and even finding you ourselves. We might even use all these ways for just one show

Like the sound of being pampered, and new clothes, but I would never apply of course.
