My daughter is cooking

She is 16, and I have to say last time this happened I was in fits of giggles - if I could roll around the floor in hysterical laughter, I would - but I'd never get up!

"Mum, how do I change the scales from kilogrammes to ullabuls"

She means pounds as in lb...

Well, you'd have to be here to hear it to realise why I'm desperately trying to supress the sniggering.

Oh dear, I can imagine how funny that is. I expect you will have the kitchen covered in flour in no time!

Hope you get a good result, whether in grams or ullabulls....heh heh

She made fudge!

Even though it didn't set properly, it was very yummy.

I've bought some more condensed milk so she can make some more!

She's a lovely cook, and makes lovely little cakes too - not often as we tend to eat them all before they cool!!

Yum yum, my daughter likes to make cakes too, I can't say I discourage her!  Now she's older she actually washes up after herself too!
