That was funny and so true, makes you realise how confusing it must be to be a child and all the conflicting things we tell them.. I'm for ever ranting and raving, jumping up and down on the spot frothing at the mouth and then stopping and asking if they understand what I've just said... do you know why you are sitting on these stairs? and they quite often haven't got the faintest idea and when they do it wasn't them and they are completely innocent, it was all their siblings doing, silly me.
Lately if I tell my son off he sulks and tells me I'm being mean! and then I feel bad and go to give him a cuddle, he rebukes my cuddles and then I feel extra bad... the b*gger :)
I like this song... it's called Single Dad and it's by a band called Man like me.
