after hunting for my son's arm bands for over an hr today i decided that i couldnt find them and ended up paying for some new ones. the only ones that the lesiuer centre was the roll ups. so it was a case of ok then i'll have those! (i usely have the triangle ones) so after spending £5.49 on them we went swimming!

i read the instructions on them and how to do them and everything and an hr later we came out i took them of my son and he was left with bruising on the insides of his armbands from where they had been :( i'm so not happy :( it looks like something/one has tied his arms together :'( and it's left the marks. not only that they were very hard to acutally roll up his arms. my son wont push his arms/hands in to anything and so when i went to push these up on to his arms he pulls them away so i'm there tryin to push and he's pulling the other way (if that makes any sence!) so i have to get my hand in there to grabb his and pull it thrugh, and there was a couple of times when my hand slipped and i ended up hitting him in the chest :(

so i have decided to write an email to ZOGGS saying that i am not happy with it and them and i'm awaiting a reply from them! see what comes up. and if i dont get anything from them that way after a week i'll be writing to them with pictures of my son's arms and whats been left from there arm bands and see what happends then!!!

please let me know if anyone else has had this problem with these armbands as i can then add in to the letter (if it gets that far) that i know of others that have had the same result as me!

Good luck with that. I am a great believer in complaining if things are not right. One school of thought says that this gives the company the chance to get things right. Myself, I am more of the mind that they need to take responsibility for their products, but then I am a real Victor Meldrew Wink

i'm a bit of both of those comments!!!

gives them chance to get things right

and

they should take responsibility!!! lol

i know that every child is different but i wonder how many children they tested these arm bands on and how many of them had some sort of prob with them like my son has had! today nursery said that my son told them that his arms hurt (as to weather it was the bruising or the fact that he knew there was something wrong i dont know) but he did comment that they hurt! :(

they should take responsibility! i'm looking for some thing even if it's just an appology from them! i'v paid out £5.49 on those arm bands and there rubish! they'v marked my sons arms as i'v said the poor lad looks like he's been beaten up at the moment with his arms the way they are :(

on the plus side i went in home bargains store today and picked up a pair of arm bands for an amazing ... outstanding .... hughly price! ... of ...49p! :D whoop! whoop! and there the normal triangle shaped ones so they have a flat bit that go under the arm and will mean that my son can put his arms together next to his body which will help him out a lot more rather than having to hold them out all the time!

i'v not heard from ZOGGS yet today so will see what tomorrow brings!

I wouldn't hold your breath, hatz Undecided , as a professional complainer one of the things that surprised me when I first became one, is how long these people take to address complaints. I had a run in with a bank recently. I was hoping to be able to have the case on that "Money Box" programme on Radio 4 as not only were they treating me abominably, their complaints procedure was dreadful! Anyway MoneyBox didn't think it was interesting enough to put on the programme, shame as you could all have listened Laughing

Hope your son's arms are less sore today, hatz

lol thats always the case!!!! i got one message from ZOGGS sayin that they will get back to me with in the week (of course it's ony of those automated ones that get sent out! haha!!! but there we go!!) we shall ess what happends

his arms dont seem to be as bad today but you can still clearly see the marks that the arm bands have made. i put a few picks on facebook of his arms and the marks and a fair few people commented sayin that. that wasnt right or anything no armbands should make that sort of mark

but as i say he's had a new pair yesterday from homebargains store for 49p! :D whoop! :D and he's warn them today and they are perfect! lol gone back to the normal traingular ones which have the flat bit that gose across the bottom of the arms and then go up in to a trianle point at the top! :)

so all's good again! :)

oops dropped off a min then! lol wakey wakey hatz!!!!!!!!!!!!
