Wow Bubblegum, some of those pictures were so heartbreaking. Also makes you really realise how lucky we are too.

How did you happen to come across it?

It does put things into perspective doesn't it. I used to live in Zambia right next to a shanty town of mud huts and tin shacks in a town called Kasama, I used to walk through it daily listening to my walkman and all the kids used to follow me and talk to me, I used to think of the pied piper, what struck me was they were all incredibly happy, despite being dressed in rags and having nothing.

I found that link on a site called reddit, but I spend a lot of my time just reading stuff on the net as I suffer from what is known as information addiction or pseudo-attention deficit disorder, where do they get these names? I was reading about it recently and I thought hay that's me! I just have to read all the time and my head is full of pointless information, apparently If we were living thousands of years ago we would know our local enviroment down the the smallest detail, which hill had the shortest grass, we would know individual trees large rock and stuff like that but now a days all that brain power is filled up with stuff on a more global scale and the internet is just endless raw information, years ago you had to go to the library to get just a fraction of that information, now there is just more information that any one person can process just a mouse click away.

And I regularly get lost in it : )

Or something like that anyway. : )
