Start dating again

Thinking about getting into the dating game again as fed up being on my own, has anyone tried any sites and have any advice, I`ve heard some bad stories but it cant all be bad.

Just a little nervous as its been ages :(

Hi nikki008,i think its great that you want to get in to the dating game again and internet dating can be a good way to do it cos not everyone wants to meet someone in a pub/bar.i know how you feel it does get lonely,and your bound to feel nervous,i had my first date for god knows how long through a dating site 3 years ago and i was so nervous!but it does get easier.

I have been on the same dating site now for 3 years and have met some lovely guys just no one i had any chemistry with yet.but im not giving up hope lol,i wont recommend the site im on as its not one of the best,and the only reason im on that one is because i can access it through my mobile as i dont have a computer.

Plenty of fish and flirt box are both pretty ok as i have a friend thats on plenty of fish and a friend who was on flirtbox,altho you do get the occasional weirdo lol.

I think your best bet is to go on something you have to pay for like match.com or eharmony.i have a friend who is on match.com and she say the guys on there seem more serious about meeting someone as they are paying to be on there and she hasnt had a weird or rude message yet lol.

I recently saw oasis.com on tele and thats free so that could be worth a try.
