Hi guys, this is my first post here. I have a little problem at the moment with the floor in my front room. its a laminate floor and we have a little rug in the middle just where the kids play. The reason I originally got the rug was to protect the floor and keep it clean. The problem is that every time the kids play it moves and I think its only a matter of time before one of them slips and hurts them selves. I know you can get rugs that can grip the floor but can't seem to find them anywhere. I'm currently living in Manchester if any one knows a place? Thanks

Hello sashar and welcome.

Ye this is the sort of thing I got. I don't know about Manchester but I actually bought one of these types of mats for this very reason. I used to have a little rug as you walk through the front door and every time someone would come in they would slip. I think one of those rubber backing mats is what your looking for. I can understand your concern though, laminate floors alone are dangerous for kids especially when they are playing. This is were I got mine from, they have loads of these sorts of things - floormats website

Good luck.

Oh dear, and here's me thinking how much fun my children would have had if we had had laminate flooring they could have skidded on..... and I probably would have joined them. And we would have all fallen over and hurt ourselves.... Children fall over all the time! I personally would so not worry about that.

I am running now and ducking before everybody jumps on me for health and safety! :P
