Hi I'm knew on here and could really use some advice my little girl 8months old well her dad lives 3nd half hours away nd has only seen her 3 times since she was born well he wants her for his sisters wedding so I agree nd said Friday to Sunday nd he has tried telling me that I don't have any rights to tell him what days to bring her back nd he said he will bring her back when ever he wants.
Is he right when he says I have no rights to tell him days? Please I'm at a loss I'm debating on even letting her go :( please help

Good luck Kirstynemily, I agree that 8 months is very young for your daughter to be away from you for so long.
I think we can all agree that noone could give their baby to someone (parent or not) without knowing when they shall be returned.
You must do what you feel is right for you and your daughter and not be bullied into anything.

I presume that you were not married to your daughter's dad so that nothing has gone through court?
Three days (and maybe even more!) sounds a long time for her to be away from home when she is only 8 months old and hardly knows him. I think you could do with some legal advice not only about this but also about whether to take out a residence order (ie an order that legally confirms that she lives with you) Please email our Legal expert (click on blue link) and tell her what you have told us and also whether his name is on the birth certificate.
