No, I haven't bought one on ebay! Laughing

Are you going to turn out to watch the torch in your area? I definitely would like to, as it seems to me that this is a historic occasion, and I am just sad that so many children will be at school....so do you think the schools will take them to see it, or is it a bit of a damp squib?

See this page to find out when you can watch it in your area. There's a search facility on the right hand side of the page. I am loving the idea that different One Spacers around the country will see the torch!!!!

I have a feeling it may be a damp squib here, although if we have a chance we will.  I can't stand for long now, so would need to park up and watch - which, having been watching it on the tele, won't be possilbe, I don't think.

We were excited when we first saw the list, but exams have dulled things.... Smile

Awwww. I can't stand up for long either, my back hurts too much. I have a fold -up camping stool in the boot of the car and my cunning plan is to take that under my arm.

Torch will be coming through here, but I am not sure where I'll be then! If I am here, I'll go and see, I think. Might be the torch goes past the school, but am not sure.

I think its momentous too.  I just hope there is a way I can get to see it even if the children choose not to come.

Now its sunny, perhaps the excitement will build up again.

On a different topic, we delivered letters to all the houses on the estate asking about a Big Lunch as its Jubilee year.  One person has offered to make cakes... No other responses.

I think us Welsh can be pretty dull at times!

Sparkling you are the OPPOSITE of dull Smile

I think that there can be a disappointing reponse to community things sometimes and that is a real shame as I am sure that our children would all benefit from community involvement!

I thought the torch coming through was momentous, I was hoping to see it, but I was away - I got a text from my friend though who went along and SHE HELD IT!!!

I was planning on going to a friends street party for the Jubilee, but my daughter has just announced that Pixie Lott is singing in the millenium square - so I am divided!
