I was made redundant on the 30th May 2013. I informed the council and filled in the form for jsa. Single parent of 3, 2 dependant.........
I had a hysterectamy booked for the 14th June and needed to claim esa.....simple you would think.....7 hours in hospital, cancelled operation. Got home and rang esa to cancel the claim.....operation now the 8th July.....
esa did not cancel and i had gone to sign on as normal....i am not on the system as esa had not stopped the claim. This had also effected housing benefit and that was suspended.....in all i get nothing.....
Everyone was informed as things happened.....it is such a mess......but how? I didn't sign off and stopped the claim for esa......it is such a mess and to top this off i move county on the 30th June.....help
Thank you, I have mailed Benefits expert. Here's hoping as i am at my wits end after phoning and phoning different departments and no one is listening. Esa even said i sent them a medical certificate till the 20th. I never had a medical certificate as the operation was cancelled grrrrrr This is horrible......
What a shambles for you, in these days you would expect that these things could be sorted within minutes!
