Hi , I'm currently in an injunction nightmare with a very controlling manipulative man. Would be really good to communicate with anyone going through or who may have gone through this. Thanks

Hello and welcome along. Sorry to hear that you are going through this. There are lots of people on here who have gone through their own version of events and some will be along to say hello later. In the meantime, tell us what is going on for you, how old are your children?

11 and 7. Ex was following me demanding to know what I'm doing. He tried to make me leave a gym and tried to pay the gym owner to kick me out. I got a harrassment warning and now going for injunction. He sees the kids as and when he wants if he is happy I'm single but if I meet someone or I go somewhere he doesn't approve of like a night out which is very rare he then stops seeing the kids for weeks on end with no contact. He's now issued a contact order to see the kids saying I won't let him see them. I've never stopped him.

In one sense it would be good to get a defined contact order. I think it would be a good idea to keep a log of when he does see them so that you can show the pattern he has followed.

It is none of his business what you do in your social life these days and I am glad that you have an injunction

Do have a look at the Freedom Programme I mentioned above

Hi there and welcome from me too. Smile

It is such hard work dealing with someone who is insistent on being unsupportive, do you have any family nearby or friends that you are getting support from?

Are you in touch with your local womens aid?

Yes I have family and friends. I'm just so tired of it all. I have an injunction hearing coming up and I'm terrified

Hi Cm, I am glad that you have some support around you, it is so important.

It is understandable that you are feeling terrified of the injunction hearing. Have you spoken to your solicitor about what will happen on the day? Have you been told that you can wait in a 'safe room' so that you won't need to be in the same waiting room as your ex?

Who is going with you to the hearing?
