So, these past few yaers have been difficult to say the least.
But, i am now choosing to move on and view this single parent thing and contact arrangement woth ex/father in a more positive light, otherwise i will be complaining for the rest of my life,
YES IT IS HARD, but i can do this, i am doing this and i will continue to do this.
Lets get some of us together here, to say YES WE CAN DO THIS!!

i like too turn my neg things about being single parent into pos eg I was out at the park we had been out all day but thought oh I don't want to go home to no one
but thought I have not got to go home to ( all the s h I t ) I used to .... I'm free to stay out do whatever
not cook a meal and do as I'm told ;) it's great x
It's fantastic when we can see the new positives in our lives 
The best things about being a single parent for me is ....
8pm onwards the TV remote is mine !
I can wear pyjamas's to bed without the " oh if your wearing them then no sex again tonight !" statement is heard
When my son is away... then mummy will play
I am enjoying days/ holidays with just my son and bonding with him more
The legoland rides that only seat two occupants, now means I never have to wait on the sidelines for a turn ever again
If i want to have more than one glass of wine in an evening... I will
No more cooked dinners left drying in the oven wasted when he gets in late
How easy it to do the weekly shop now I dont have to remember the endless lists of food he "had to have "
Getting dressed up for a date !
Come dine with me on the TV from 10am till bed time if i want
The pride I take in my appearance/ clothes
When my son gets into bed with me and tells me all the reasons why he is happy with our life
I see it , i can afford it , i want it..... i have it !
No more starching/ ironing 5 shirts on a Sunday only to be told "that's not how you iron " really well if his ironing experience is only as far as his shirt's ...then he should try Ironing a pleated skirt before he passes comment !
And finally.. I am sure you all happy to read... I found strength in places and people I would have never looked at before. Happy Monday to all ..
