I love reading your posts they are just bursting with happy exuberance : )

They say the maddest things don't they, my son a while back burst out with I've got a fisherman up my bum!!

Explanation being, he actually had a fissure up there, a small crack that I rushed him to the doctor with when he produced toilet paper, I was sat at my computer and he shows me toilet paper smeared with pooh and bright red blood, I took him to the doctor, and he misheard what she said.

: )

AND! just sat there minding my own buisines one day and he happily informes me..

Daddy! if I stick my finger up my bum there is a bone there.

??!!

Explination.. he was given some cream to administer up his bum.

To kill the fisherman no doubt.

I hope that is not what is called a fisherman's friend? Embarassed

I love the things that children say, they often have more wisdom than we have. Let's have this thread for those things, and ask other people to chip in too.

They never stop saying funny things, even when they get to be teenagers. My son informed me gravely last week that I was not to worry as I did not look 50. I dared to ask how old he thought I looked. "Erm....48" he said. Laughing

Any more funnies?

Well it's funny the way they see things.

On my son's first day at school he had a school lunch and I asked him what he had had, he obviously could not remember the word "cauliflower" as he told me he had had "white broccoli" Laughing

My son, aged almost 21, calls them "umbrella vegetables" and refuses to eat them!
