Hi lorraine

I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with this.

One of the parenting specialists will be online and will be able to suggest something that may be able to help.

Oh Lorraine43 I am so, so sorry to hear this news, you must be stunned. I am glad you came to tell us about it so we can give you some support.

Firstly, send an email to our Legal Expert (click). Make sure you tell him whether your son's dad has a residency order and what has happened in court so far, and ask the expert what he suggests.

Secondly it is important to look after yourself right now. You MUST get in touch with the benefits people first thing on Monday morning to get things reinstated.

Please don't give up, you need to gather all your strength now to re-establish contact with your boy

Thankyou I will e mail them over the weekend,I am on a mandatory course 1st thing and it 2 bus rides, was doing well with it but have had to have some time off this week because I couldnt face it.I am more than stunned-am still in deep shock and have made an official complaint to ss -they knew and actually helped my ex to move away,I am in total disgust.Xmas is coming and I dont want to celebrate-I've only ever had his 1st Xmas with him and he now 2 and a half,All the authorities have let me down-Cornwall is 6 hours away and that's in a car! and I not have one.my ex wont give me an address but will come up this way at Xmas to see his family but wont let me see my son-he keeps blaming SS but its his fault

It would be a good idea to contact Family Rights Group again, too.

Thanx I'm doing this and Louise,I contacted Family Rights before and got the same old-see a solicitor, today my friend could not get hold of me and knew how devastated I was and text my ex partner-to say she was worried I had done something-bless her for caring but my ex? ,he did not acknowledge her text or even try to contact me,my daughter anyone-how can someone be so heartless?,I will try the legal expert as I seriously want to mount a campaign to see if anyone has seen my son-but worried bout arrest as could be seen as harrassment-as much as I despise my ex partner there is also the issue of how he could cause such pain to me-his ex wife cheated on him when he worked away but he still stood by her and the kids they had-dont understand the cruelty,I am 43 years old with nothing-had it all before my ex-good jov,a car, credit worthy-he destroyed it all

There is a long list of things that you feel you have lost, or that he has taken away. I am guessing that you feel your son is the most important in that list and that is what needs your focus right now.

See what the Legal Expert saysm finers crossed there will be some guidance as to how to go about this.

Thank you Imdoing this and will take the time to try and read others posts as I am not a selfish person,I am about to e mail the legal expert as we speak, yes my son is my top priority as I also have a broken hearted 15 yr old that wants to see her brother desperately and has to lie to her father and his partner about my son because they ridicule me in front of her,I am so grateful for the support I have on here and helps that I have people thinking of me-a massive hug to u all xx

I still cant get it loaded up but did manage to get through to Family Rights-just waiting on an E Mail or call, took myself back to Job Centre today to reclaim money and managed to get to a course. It's a joke that I cant afford to make calls to 0845 numbers and all of my issues have been via post/E Mail but I doing all I can.I am the type of person that goes ballistic so thing's take a while to process as I cant afford to trip up-Trying a bit of CBT to change my thought processes,I am taking sometime tomorrow to ask if I can help all of those that have supported me-thank you xx
