Hello AJ

Before we point you in the right direction, maybe you could give us more information. Where do you live at the moment? Are you wanting to live in the country, or a town or a small city? Yorkshire has all of these and is about 5-6 hours drive from London.

I would recommend you google "living in Yorkshire" as a first step to get some more ideas.

Not too keen on that ripper chap though.

But then I suppose you just have to take the rough with the smooth, such is life.

As I said above, you need to decide whether you wish to live in a city like Leeds, Sheffield or York, a large town such as Halifax, at the seaside, eg Scarborough, a small town or in the countryside. Yorkshire is a huge place, covering 12 thousand square kilometers! Getting a job anywhere is not easy these days but I guess towns and cities may offer the best chance.

From what you say, you are pregnant at the moment. It may be difficult to get social housing in a new area so to move you would need the money for a privately rented place. How long have you been separated from your children's father?
