hello everyone ;)

have a problem and dont really know what to do anymore .i am single parent of 2.5 year old boy .split up from his dad 9 months ago and because i didnt have a place to go i rented a room in sheared house.I have my own room with my boy and a bathroom.Room is not very big abd after i put my all stuff in there and a bed all i got left for him to play its a little space around the bed. i applied for a council accomodation months ago ,i would say half of the year or more .I am bidding houses online but no respond now .I got band A and been told i have a priority coz of over crowding .Theres not many houses on the site in the arreas where i would be able to live ,the most of them are to far.The reason is i travel one hour to work and one hour back ,i have a childminder near my house and this way i am able to manage to drop him off and manage to start work on time and pick him up ,i am happy with a childminder and i dont wanna change her .if i move away theres no chance i can manage with things .My boy is growing ,he needs a space to play ,hes a lil child and a bit messy so all the time i am like a robot coz he gets bored ,he make things dirty ,drawed on walls ,been jumping on the bed and broken it ( cant afford to buy new),This room is like all in one -play room kitchen living room bedroom and i dont manage with it .I started looking in agencies and they dont accept dss.I work part time but get help wth rent as i dont get enough .I dont know what to do anymore .Any ideas? Is it right to wait so long or maybe i can do something about it ? i feel sorry for him being stuck in this one room i wanna give him  normal home .
