Hi Linn

It's good to 'see' you here.

I have four children - my youngest is 11.  Basically when it comes to pets, we have a zoo!!

Hi Linn. Welcome along to One Space. I have one 8 year old son. Can be a handful at times, but on the whole is a good kid. No pets here, used to have goldfish!!!

Hope you join in with the rest of us. Have you managed to have a look around the site yet?

Hello kittycat

You are very welcome here. Hope you will soon feel at home and will join in the various topics.

I have two boys of 21 and 16 so have many years experience of parenting alone. How long have you been a single parent?

Hi kittycat. Do you get any support from family and friends? Does your daughter have contact with her Dad?

Hi kittycat

You might have some wise words to offer other parents as you will have been through all sorts as your daughter has grown up.

Have you had a good weekend?

HI, Mine were for ever tinkering with everything. I remember everything in my house slowly getting higher and higher until they were old enough to be explained to not to touch, not that they actually listen mind, I just let them arrange all the nicks and nacks in the front room now.. the window is some sort of shrine to various leggo star wars people and stuff found from the beach and they are for ever rearranging the cushions from the sofa and building dens with them. It's like a daily chore of mine to rearrange the front room before they get up just so they can put it back to their liking by the evening..

Hi Kittycat and Loopy6302,

Welcome to One Space, its great to have you here!

Kittycat, you mentioned that your daughter is thirteen, how are you finding parenting a teenager?  My eldest is nearly eleven so I have the teenage years on my mind!

Loopy6302,

I don't think we've 'met' before, I'm HelenT one of the moderators. Have you had a good weekend?
