Hi and Help

Lynam family

I've been a single parent for 6 months and I will be moving to a new home as my soon to be ex wants the house back I work full time but with 3 kids I can't afford to buy all the things I need. Their dad is not for letting me go with most of the stuff or with money the divorce can't go through as he's digging his heels in is there any help out there for working single parents to buy household products.

Hello Lynam family

Welcome to One Space.

First of all, if you are using your real name, we ask you to change this for privacy. Just click on My Profile at the top right of the page, then the Edit tab then change your user name and click on Save at the bottom of that page

Next, if you are on benefits then there is a possibility of getting a Community Care grant or Budgeting Loan to help you with essential items such as beds or a cooker, please email our Money Expert and ask about these by filling in this form

There are various organisations around the country which supply cheap household goods and furniture to people on low incomes.Find out about things near you by searching on Your Local and also asking our Local Services Expert.
