Hi

Purplewings

Thank you, Louise, slept wonderfully. Didn't think I would, obviously I was exhausted. Feel heaps better.

Well got up today to find 2 poorly children. So no school for them, which means no new sim card today! lol  Might get in touch with o2 themselves and see if they can change my number. Thinking more clearly now that I slept.

Going to spoil these poorly bairns and see if I can get some housework done.

The thing that worries me is that if I change my number so he can't contact me, what's to stop him just turning up at my door? or a I just overthinking it?

D xx

ps hope you guys have a good day.

I'm sure O2 will post a sim card Purplewings.

If he turns up at your door and you're afraid, then you phone the police...

I hope your children get better quickly.

Thank you Louise and sparkling lime.

Keep typing things here and forgetting to click on the post button (Serious blonde moments which is great when i'm not blonde lol)

I had some sleep last night which I clearly needed, feeling heaps better today. I have woken up to 2 poorly children today, so no school for them, also no sim card for me.  Going to get in touch with o2 and see if they can change my number without changing the sim, (hope they can do that).

The thing that worries me is that if he cannot contact me by phone then whats stopping him just turning up at my door? or am I overthinking this?

Going to spoil 2 poor bairns and try and get some housework done emphasis on the try. lol

ps Hope you guys have a good day.

Yes especially when they go onto another page!

You're right, he could well turn up at the door but as sparkling says, call the poilce if need be, do not answer the door and keep it bolted or the key on the inside so he can't get in,

Kids have perked up (surprise that what with me ringing the schools to say they are not well, think i have been had lol)

Thank you for your kind replies and support you guys, means a lot. Especially when your feeling low.

If he comes here I will ring the police. (thats the plan) makes me feel better when I have a plan!

Hi Purplewings,

Apologies for not posting earlier but my children been poorly too, so sorry.

Just wanted to say that you are inspiring and you are the epitome of a strong, protective mother and you are doing everything you possibly can to protect and love your children. I understand the hassle of dealing with abusive texts and threats and know that its is mostly hot air designed to intimidate us so the advice your getting to ignore them & keep them for your solicitor is spot on.

I truly hope you and your children are free of this soon and send you my very best wishes. Keep strong and  keep focused,

Hugs from A xx smiley

Thank you so much manc-lass, I hope your children get well soon.

My 2 were fine this afternoon, (definitely been had, no doubt about it, having said that my mam thinks it's a reaction to the stress, she might be right).

I had another text off the ex today. Glad I did in an odd sort of way, basically the school rang him today to let him know that my daughter was off, and instead of asking how she was all he said was that I had kept her off deliberately so he wouldn't see her performance tonight. (school were performing at a local theatre). More proof of how little he cares.

Had a conversation today with a neighbour of mine who happens to be a social worker. Told her about the texts and the way he had behaved toward my daughter.  She advised me to make another appointment with my solicitor and get a residency order and to take the texts to the police and have them make a record of the harrassment.  So thats my plans for tomorrow.  After that definitely ringing o2 and changing my number.

Decided today that there is going to be no more it's not fair and why me?.  Why not me, maybe I have to learn something from this, maybe it's about learning to be strong.  It's been 4 years of me doing this alone and I havn't done a bad job, no i'm not perfect but I love my bairns and would change the world for them if I could. Think that just about covers it! lol

I hope everyone has had a good day and that things get better for us all.
