hi all.i just need some advise.i want to take my kids away for a weekend or so...Aa im a single parents of 2 n on benefits its a bit hard..my son is 12 n my daughter is 5 so have to cater for both..i also have not got the confident to go anywhere on my own..do u know if there r any holiday sites that u can go with other parents?

I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that one, but sure someone will have an idea.

I used to book a cheap room in a Travelodge and take my lot away.  I'm lucky with where I live though...

also you can go on moneysavingexpert.com and tell others what your budget is - they are a friendly bunch and will come up with suggestions

I see also Sun holidays are advertising their cheap breaks too

I still rave about a PGL family holiday that I went on with my daughter, there were a lot of single parents there. It was great for family bonding, as well as for the children to be able to run around with other children their age. Once you have paid, 3 meals a day are provided and you basically can sit back and enjoy yourself!
