Hello!

EMSOVIC

Hi all,

Im E,i have been divorced for 2yrs now but seperated for 5! god time goes so fast.

It was a difficult decision in the end, worrying about what my 2 girls would think but we made it through.

My ex spent his time in the pub after work, instead of being with his family? we had been together for 22yrs,childhood sweethearts but my needs for a fanily life were completely different to his.It got real bad in the end,so i gave up trying to get him on the right track and concentrated on getting my selfconfidence back in tact.

My family have suported me throughout and if it wasnt for them and my closest friend i really dont think i would be here now, times were very very hard emotionally for me,i dont know how many times i thought of just giving up completely,my girls kept me strong.

I have just come out of another relationship of 3yrs,which was great but he couldnt commit to us,so i bit the bullet again and ended it.The thing is,i know what i want and i know it might not be out there but im not gona be a doormat again.Or be second best.I have come so far, even through those dark days,i come out stronger each time.Looking forward to chatting to you all.

E

Hi EMSOVIC and welcome to One Space

Thank you for your post, it sounds as though you have been through some tough times, but with the support of your family and good friend AND belief that life can be better, you are marching on!

I once read a story who left two unfulfilling marriages, but strived to find what was right for her. At the end of the article, she was now happily married, got on great with the in-laws, was financially stable and enjoyed her career, her belief was that she wouldn't stop until she felt content! I love the story as it inspires me to not settle for anything less that what I really want. It can be hard going, but I do believe eventually it will come. Too many people stay in loveless marriages or relationships, because they can't find the inner strength to get out.

So I take my hat off to you, good to have you aboard!
