EandE

Hello, My name is E and I have a 10 month old son called his 'father' hasn't been around since he was 3 months and even before then he was just a complete waste of space which is a shame as he was a complete sweetheart before i got pregnant, found this site as i know its hard for us all hard working mummys and daddys to actually get out and meet people, might be a point where i like the internet :) , good to hear from other people and there experiences,

Hello and welcome along, I have removed your real name and that of your son as we try to keep things anonymous here.

Sounds like you have had to work hard but that you also love being a mummy. What are your interests and what is your son doing at the moment, trying to stand up and shuffle round the furniture yet?

EandE

Hello apologies I forgot my password, been a busy few months near Xmas, his father still isn't involved he tried to get custody from solicitors but I said until he has a clean drug and drs test that my son has no safety around him, my son E is now 17 months and a beautifully happy boy, I don't claim CSA as he has no attachment to his son but thats a personal choice for myself.I'm so sorry for you as I know its hard when you love someone and they let you down but your son will love you so much and there main thing I was scared off was his attachment to men, but hes perfectly fine, still not found another relationship, but its given me the time to bond with him and I'm currently doing an open university course which is amazing and I would reccomend if you love a challenge <3 just know that you're doing amazing, I never knew how hard being a single mum was till I went through it so you're an amazing person and karma will bite his a**

Hi EandE, nice to see you back on One space, it sounds like your doing a great job of bringing up your son on your own and it is important to have that bonding time with them when they are really young.  What University course are you doing?

EandE

English language and literature but they've said if I pass at distinction grade throughout the whole course they'll give me a teaching apprentiship when its finished rather than having to go to uni for another year , they're amazing and helpful at open university just a bit of debt to pay off when I start working full time but I'll be worth it to have a degree

That sounds like a great opportunity EandE with the teaching apprenticeship, is teaching an area that you would like to work in?

It sounds like you like a challenge EandE, working with teenagers, i'm sure it will be rewarding though.
