Hiya

Massive shock but 8 months ago give birth to my 7th girl at the grand old age of 49 -  have 6 other girls as follows  20,22,24,27,30,31 plus seven grandchildren.

Finally had freedom a few yrs ago and well paid job and hols aboard - now i am on benefits and have applied to Univ after 30 yr working in care sector without any formal qualifications.

Boyfriend lives in London and me in North East he travels up here every weekend to see us all  - £500 a month in petrol costs alone. He cant get a job here and lives in West London.

Life is tough having a baby 24/7 without anyone else to give me a break but we are overjoyed with her.

Love to hear your stories and what you get up to during the day - having worked full time since 1995 its not easy been at home all day.

Hi debsdelight Massive Shock indeed!! Surprised Goodness me.

It must be quite a shock to the system living on benefits after 'having it all' once your older girls had grown up. It is not easy, but we do adjust eventually.

It must be hard not having the support of your boyfriend on a day to day basis, I am wondering if you have been a single parent before?

You have 6 grown up daughters, do they live locally? Are they able to give you a break from time to time? Do any of your daughters have children?

When would you start Uni? Sept?
