you know when you get that feeling that something isnt right! ... i was asleep last night (of course!) but i woke up cuz i realsied something wasnt right and i checked my bed and realised that my son wasnt there! (he sleeps in his own bed but some point thru the night comes and joins me!) so i woke up and noticed he wasnt there! and went back to sleep! :) my alram gose of at 7am and so i switched it off again and rolled over for my morning cuddles and realised that there wasnt any one there to have a cuddle with :( so i lay there in bed TRYING to get my brain in to gear and then it dawned on me that my son had slept RIGHT THRU THE NIGHT! :) altho he's 4yrs old this is a rearaty for him! to sleep thru in his own bed ... about 10 mins after i woke up to my alarm he came in to my room and said good morning mummy i slept in my own bed all night :) he came and gave me a kiss and cuddle and then went to see his grandma (in the next room) and he said good morning mamar i slept in my own bed all night :D and then came back in to me :D bless him!

bout 10 mins later i said right time to get out of bed and go find some clothes (plus he was complaining he was cold!) so i went thru his clothes and found what he said he wanted to wear and told him to get dressed while i sorted my mop (hair) out! so i went down stairs and started sorting my hair out and managed to get it up for a change! i then went back up stairs to straighten the part that i have down (frindge bit!) as i was doing that my son came in to my room ... now i told him to get dressed! so he did! ... he had his trousers on his head, socks on his hands, pants on his arms and tshirt was on his feet!!!!!!!! how can you keep a straight face with that! haha i told him to go show his mamar! haha! so there we were laughing about what he'd decided to do! bless his little sence of humor he catches me out sometimes and as i say ... he's only 4yrs old!!!!!

we had about 10 mins left for him to get his shoes on and catch the bus and for some odd reason his mood changed and he didnt want to do anything :( we ended up walking to town cuz we missed the bus as he wasnt getting his shoes on then bout 1/2 way he said he was cold and didnt want to walk any more so had to make games up along the way just so we got to town in one peice! but we got there! took us 40 mins to walk the mile (usely takes 20!) got him up to nursery and he still wasnt happy and wouldnt leave me so i dont know what sort of a day he will have now but i'm hoping that he will snapp out of it and get a happy face from nursery today as he's had sad faces all week :'( but putting it down to a change of ruteen as i have been looking after a little 5yr old girl whilest her parents are working and she's now not at school with the holidays! lol fun times! (i keep sayin to my self!!)

i'm on emergency cover for 2 children down the road as there mum has 1 day left of pregnancy (ok i know that she can go 2 weeks over but the size she is now i dont think she will go that far!) so i'm hopin that she dosent text me at 12 to say that she's in labor as i'm helping out at a cafe then! lol and on monday and tues day i dont think i'll be able to take them and the little miss 5yr old with me to job centre things! (mon will be fine as it's only signing day but tues i have some sort of meetin there! whoop-de-doop!) but there we go! got to go with what mother nature brings us and what morther nature wants to do! lol

any ways i'm logging off now have gone cold and have a whole host of animals to sort out before 11:30!! hope that they all behave them selves so i can get them sorted quickly! lol

right! TTFN will be on later some point!

Hatz! (",)  (i'm that cold that i'v turned purple)

Hi Hatz. I feel exhausted just reading your post, hehe. Well done your 4 year old for sleeping right through in his own bed. I'm sure you're all extremely proud of him, and long may it continue, (the sleeping bit I mean). You certainly might be having your hands full later on then. Plus the animals to sort? Wrap up warm, sounds pretty chilly where you are!

Hope your son is ok at nursery today. Am sure he'd have settled once you're out of sight! That's what normally happens anyway. It could be the change of routine that you talked about, but it could be something entirely different, so I would keep an eye on that one.

Have a good day.

Hello purple hatz!

Wow your son did really well to sleep through, I am sure you gave him tons of praise, he might have suddenly felt very rushed and therefore reluctant to hurry up but will probably have been OK at nursery, hope he gets a smiley face. It sounds as if he is undergoing some changes in his routine, you know, he might even be sleeping better because of eating more! As he leaves nursery and prepares for school, it might help to introduce the grown-up idea, ie "Big school boys sleep in their own beds" or "schoolboys do.." whatever you would like him to do, heh heh

hey both! thats sounds a good idea louise, he's in to school things at the moment so it will be easy to do with him! he was very tired today after nursery he plays football in nursery with a coach thats gone in to train them and for him to get training! lol so he's pretty tired!
today he came home with a smiley face in his repot book as he'd been listening, talking nicely, not shouting :D and he enjoyed singing time today :D whoop!

yeh this mornings post was rather long but it's just me as mad as can be! LMAO i didnt have the little miss today and monsteroo has had a good day so i am linking the two together! and it slots in to place when other things have changed suddenly in his day he's messed up somewhere and ended up with a sad face, thing with my son is that he's got Autistic traites and as soon as something changes he dosent cope very well and he plays up in the day. it's not really noticeble till the point of change and sometimes he gose off in to his own world and you cant snap him out of what ever he's doin! lol thankfully i have grown up with Autisum being in the family as my brother has it and my mum use to do restpite care for people with Autisum so i know what he can be like and as soon as he's had a change in the day he's dosent like it at all! but we live and cope with everything as mothers :D

tonight the boy across the road from us came and have a quick play with my son which is cool he's a yr older than my son but seems to be mentaly a yr younger (from what we gather) so he's a bit of a live wire and we only let them play when were all outside with them! lol (as in me my parents and his parents! so we can keep a close eye on them!) so he's been out tonight on his digger and the little boy was on his trike running up and down the street (well 2 houses down and 2 houses up!) so he's had some fun came in and he didnt want any tea so he had 2 glasses of milke and 2 biscuits :D which he was happy with and by 8pm he was well and truley shattered and has pretty much gone straight off to sleep which is good but guessing he will be in my bed when i wake up tomorrow! lol

shall see what happends

chat soon x

I like purple too!

Yes you might have a bedfellow when you wake up this morning. Sounds like he was too tired to eat, that is something to watch out for when he starts school, that he has tea before he gets past himself.

It's the seaside for you today so look forward to some bracing fresh air, I was trying to think of where would be your nearest seaside, would it be Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft?

we didnt end up goin today as me step dad had to go work! but were goin tomorrow :D wicked  :D our nearest ... well we smack bang in the middle of everything lol it's aprox 104 mile to skeggy and 99odd to prestaton! lol but as were in the middle of england it's pretty much the same any where we go! lol

done a lot of hard work today as finished off the drive which monsteroo helped with! so i managed to shift half a tonn of stones today to go with the tonn of millwaste yesterday and boy i'm feeling it! lol aching all over! found out that the man whole cover that we have is meant to be on a motorway lol not in our front garden so it's MASSIVE! haha! so we'v had to put the stones up and around that... but least i can say in cappital letters lol IT'S ALL DONE NOW :D

well as i said were off to the seaside tomorrow, my mum says she's never been to prestaton sands and so thats where we off to :D monster had a late night tonight didnt go bed till 9pm :O so hoping that he'll be ok but then again not that it matters if he's tired and what not cuz it'll take bout 2hrs to get there so he can have a sleep in the car if needed!

Hi hatz, have a lovely time at the seaside with your little boy and your parents. Hope the little fella has a snooze in the car for you. Maybe too excited on the way, but could happen on the way back! You all sound such a close bunch, and it's great to read your posts Smile

Don't eat too much candyfloss now hehe. You'd have to settle for pink, cos I'm sure they don't do purple!!!!

Take care

Never really knew what the fuss was/is with candyfloss. Just get face covered in it, and then end up all sticky and looking a total mess. Well I did anyway, hehe

Hello friends x

we had a lovely time out at Hunstanton! lol not where ever i said! lol but yes we had a lovely time a good day too :D set of at 8:30 am and got back at 8:30pm due to some majour badly signed road works! we ended up goin pretty much back to Kinglynn which added about another hr to the time and then the divertions wernt up half way round this changes so we had to make it up as we went along but eventually we got the right road and me step dad said if it wasnt for the divertions that road we came back on would have made the journey there a lot faster! lol typical! but there we go we know for next time we go!

we didnt have any candyfloss ... like alisoncam i'm not really in to it but i have to buy it from the fair when they come just for the sake of it! lol and yes i'v never seen any purple candy floss lol!!! pink and yellow and blue colours!!! but not purple!

as for the actual day it was lovely! had a few rides round on the fair there, we went on the sea monster boat on wheeles! got on it on the sand and it drove down to the water and we had a ride round the edge of the coast looking back at hunstanton! was really good and lil man enjoyed it too :D we then went and played on the beach and built sand castles and played bat and ball with monster and his virtual non hand eye cordination tryin to hit the ball and swing the bat at the same time watching him was rather funny indeed!!!!!

lil man didnt actually fall asleep on the way there or back! lol he was about to but then something happend and he woke up and was awake all the way back while me and my mum were fast off for about an hr! haha! bless him and his grandad!

so that was the day :D was fun fun fun and i actually got away with spending £1.45 on drinks for me and the monster! lol a VERY good day! hehe!

yeh me and the parents are pretty close and i do consider my step dad as more as a dad than my real dad and i'v only known him for 4yrs! :D but you just meet people like that in life :D i supose it's cuz i can have more of a laugh with him were as my dad you had to be sat there and quiet :D i shall say that it's down to my son that were close cuz before i had him we wernt that close at all and hardly ever spoke to each other even tho we lived in the same house and what not! but since had my son we have grown a lot closer :D

Hello hatz

Glad you had such a wonderful time at the seaside. I had to grimace when you mentioned Kings Lynn, there is that huge roundabout there, leading to the coast road, and it gets logg-jammed with traffic, NOT the sort of "roundabout" you and your son wanted to go on LaughingLaughing

It's great to have that relationship with your stepdad, he probably loves having a ready-made family.

No candy-floss? well it is only cooked sugar really, have you ever seen them making it in a drum where they whirl the stick round?

What does today hold for you?

Evening Louise!

yeh i seen them makin candy floss :D i love watching them do it! (mad i know! but it's one of them things that i like to see! lol)

today held a VERY BORING meeting thing with the job centre! i cant say what it was about cuz i was so board but i did claim my money back which i didnt mind too much considering the fact that i only had £1 left in my purse and the bus cost me £5 for a day ticket so it was good to get that back :D hopefully fingers, arms, legs, toes and eyes! crossed i'll get the money tomorrow for looking after little miss! beleive me i wont be happy if i dont get it! they (her parents) know how tight my money is at the moment and now so dose her daughter cuz i told her that i was goin to go to the vets with one of my baby rabbits and when i phoned thru to them to see how much it would cost me and found out that it was goin to be £18 to see the baby i simpoly said i cant afford it so goin to have to councle it! and then told little miss that we wernt goin now cuz i cant afford it! but there we go!

my little monster is being a big monster at nursery recently and i cant do anything with him :( yesterday he came home with a sad face sayin that he'd been throwing food and rubbed it in someones hair :( today he's got another sad face and he's not been listening rollin over the floor and when asked to sit still he's been running around :( :'( i really dont know what to do with him, not that i can do anything more than say that he's got to be a good boy at nursery as it's up to nursery to really say look MR you'v got to behaive your self! he's got a whole month left at nuresry! whoop! :D

tomorrow i'v got the little miss and mr man and debating what to do with the pair!!! i;v got a huge pile of clothes to iron and pots to wash (but most likely do them shortly! most of them at least!) other than that i dont know what i'm to do! might open the back door and say go and play as little miss dosent have a garden at her house she's not use to such a big space to play in so it's nice for her to be in a graden for a couple hrs!

well i'm goin to head off for the night x shall chat to you again soon x

hope all's well with you Louise x
