Hi Hatz,

I've just been catching up on your recent posts. College sounds exciting, although all that testing must have been a bit intense!

My children are still infrequent bed-wetters. Even my ten year old when very tired or not very well has been known to have an accident (which absolutly mortifies him). Starting school is so tiring especially when your only 4/5.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.

hiya everyone, well hospital went well altho my son wasnt interested in a single thing other than the toys. which kinda shocked me as he's usly in to the computerised things! lol but there we go!

it all went well i thought it was goin to be a pre-op thing but they dont do that till the day so we shall see what happends and everything then! we looked round the childrens ward and they get there own rooms which is pretty cool i thought! only one room is a sharing room and thats if your the lucky person that has someone else the same ish age as you and in the same opperation as you! lol so all we did yesterday was to look round the childrens ward listen to the nurse chattin away she did try get people to feel the equipment and see whats what about it how it works etc!

well i got to head off now! lovely job centre weekly now :( not happy bout that but do get my money back on travel every other week so not too bad i guess! :D

we'v got to be there for 7:30 in the morning :( for a chance for him to be straight in he's not aloud to eat for 6hrs before and drink 4hrs before that! so if he dosent eat or drink he'll be in with a chance to pretty much be first in! lol they go in age order so young to old so hopefully if he gose in at about 9 say, he should be done by 11! .. well all morning paitents will be done by 12:30 so at least i know that for sure! Told school bout the slight up date today and i wasnt happy that i couldnt tell her more bout the after care till after the opperation so it's just goin to be a case of see what happends!, he is aloud to go in on a half day if he wants to do some school so is at least something and i guess that i can get some sort of work sheets or something to work on with him from school if he dosent feel up to it!

job centre broing old job centre :( on a 6 wk every wk sign on appointments now (well for the next 6wks!) should be more intensive job search but you know what! it's just the same all i did was fill in a few boxes on my sheet and then the lady signed it off like she dose every week. just takes the peepee! there was a bit of confrontaion in there today which made things slightly different today! one of the customers (if you can call them that!) decided to shut the window with out asking and the main man came up asked if she shut it and she said yes cuz i was cold etc and he said well it's not your place to shut the windows and he opened it and she kicked off sayin how can you let us freeze like this i'm pregnant you know (she wasnt showing) then he just explained him self sayin it's not in your right to just shut the windows with out asking and he said if your cold you can move! and she just shouted out i want to see your f******* manager now! i cant beleve the way you just spoke to me a pregnant women! ... i duno what happend after that other than she did see the manager! lol just cant please some people! i have to say it was hot in there so i would have kept the windows open! but there we go!

any ways goin to head off i'm not really feelin a 100% at the moment think am coming down with a cold  :( stupid weather! need to find me asthma meds out again me thinks! lol

Hello hatz

Ooh 7.30, and early start for you, but then hopefully he will be in quite soon. We will all be thinking of you and your son on Friday.

That is a bit of a tale about the Job Centre. She sounds very rude but it also seems that the man did not handle it very well either. A friend of mine used to work in one of the old benefits offices in London and all the furniture was screwed to the floor as they had had so many instances of people throwing it at the staff! Surprised My sister works near the Job Centre in Hull and says there are regular fights and even stabbings outside, so maybe your Job Centre is more pleasant than some!!!

How are you feeling today, did your cold come out?

I used to be with the DHSS, and was in a caller office in Holyhead.

There used to be a big wooden box on the counter for sick notes to be left (was in the 1980s).  One day a "regular" came in demanding a giro as his hadn't arrived, picked this box up and chucked it at me.

While most of those who called were lovely, the odd one was nasty, and you'd be on edge when they did call.

When I first left school in Llangefni DHSS they were all behind a walled counter with protective glass.

You probably know my old neghbour she worked in holyhead DHSS can't remember her name but she live near Trefor, she must be about your age, just a little bit older, maybe her name was Mary, can't remember.

Sorry to hear this news, it is hard when you get all keyed up isn't it? remember I told you about the time my boy had his op and there was a power cut just as he was going down for his anaesthetic?

The good news is that I think it is unlikely you will have to wait long, if your boy can get a cold then so can other children so you will be offered the first cancellation. Also although I know to you it seems you have had to wait for ages for this op, it is great to get it done while he is little and the absence from school won't be so bad.

lol well picked him up from school and there was mention of him coughin from his teacher! (didnt tell her! lol) and he's been fine since! grr! typical! but i'v sure come down with it all!!!! lol we shall see what happends with him and everything! told them that we wernt avalible over the leicestershire half turm (18th week) as we were on holiday so hopefully it'll be after that! which i'm guessin it will be! lol ... bless my grandma :) sent him a get well card :) so got to get in touch with her to say thanks for the card i'v left it in the envalope and he will have it when he gose in! but there we go! glad that we wernt there and they said no or in your case Louise! we didnt have a power cut! but as you all say it's all the build up getting things ready and organised getting my son to the thinking that he's goin in to hospital, of which when i told him he wasnt goin to go he wasnt really happy bout it! lol so i think he was looking forward to it in a way! so i told him that we'v just got to wait for a new appointment soon.

i'm feelin pretty perfetic tbh! lol i did get a good sleep last night but woke up this morning with a really heavey head on me which i didnt like! lol took me a while to get out of bed!! with my son next to me eyes closed saying he's still asleep!!!! haha i love him to bits and his little mad sayings!

went to look after my friends kids while she went and sorted out council and job centre people so dosed me self up before i went there but i think it was her kids that gave it me in the first place! lol as the last time i looked after them they were all runny nosed and coughing! lol but there we go! :)

tomorrow's friday again Whoop! lol i know i'm mad! lol well as my son's now not goin to hospital he's able to go to the harvest festival tomorrow at the church in town so i'm goin to join them there and see what they'v been working on :) really cant wait :D

ah man :( got home this afternoon to find both our chickens had been killed :'( they were both fine this morning when went and fed them, but when got home at 3:30 there they were (well 1 of them) on the path out back deaded :( me mum found the other one behind the hedge so they'v both been bagged and me step dad takin them to the crematorirum (insinerater!) at his work! lol we think a fox had dug its way in (well deffently dug in cuz you can see where the whole is!) but yeh we think it's a fox thought mmmm nice tasty meal there! lol had to break the news to my son which he wasnt happy bout told him that the chickens had gone and he turned to me and said what about my hens! haha! i said they are too! lol so i told him we'll have to get some other animals and he turned to me (excited voice) I know! ... what about ... some .... baby chickens! hahahahaha! told him he'll have to ask grandad very nicely! lol

Hope the harvest festival goes Ok at least!

Hi Hatz,

I'm sorry to hear about your chickens, I hope your little one isn't too sad.

Do you have nay idea how long you might have to wait for another appointment for his op? How frustrating for you after all that build up and worry. It's amazing how kids are always well and then suddenly the one day you need them healthy they develop something horrid. have you go over the cold yet?

i'm not doin too bad it's about this time of night that it hits me! lol crazy illness hits in the night so i dont get a good sleep! lol but there we go! lol ... my son would have probably been all right to go in today as he's been just fine yday and today GRRRRRRR! lol but then i wouldnt have seen him in the harvest festival and i wouldnt have heard the 2 reception classes singing and sayin poems! :) so i'm glad it got cancled cuz it was one of the most amazing things i'v seen and heard in a long time :'( yeh ok i didnt hear just my son it was the whole 2 classes but it was so sweet the sound in the church :) :'( (you know i'm only cryin cuz it's a mum thing! lol)

we've convinced my step dad to get 2 more chickens :D WHOOP!!! but have told my son that were goin to wait till after the cold spell and just before they start layin so there not goin to get hit by that and settle in before they start laying!!! but yes it was a  real shock to me and i'm glad i got it cleared up before my son saw them!!

OMG!!!!!!! we had a new roof back in ... (thinking) ... MARCH this yr (end of march!) and today we'v had terencial (really bad) rain and i went in to my son's room tonight to find a few lovely water bubbles on his wall behind the paper GRRRR! typical! so we phoned thru to the emergency offices and reported it! they said to me mum that it wasnt a real emergency as the rain has died down now for 1, 2 the roof hasnt caved in, 3 it's the weekend so unless it was totaly 100% needed they wouldnt send any one out! lol ... thanks so my son's got to sleep in a room that has got HUGE wet bubbles under the wall paper till it's fixed then! ... ah well least he can have his room decorated now! hehe! :D CANT WAIT! (and i'll buy the stuff me self if me mum dont let me do it!) poor lad! in a room with lovely yellow wall paper with pretty white flowers on it! hehe! (well it was made as a spare room for when me gran came and stayed but now is my son's room!)

ah well got to head off chat soon xxx
