I did this until the house was sold, so only for 7 months - and that was difficult enough.

Sorry, but I really don't know what to suggest.

My very best wishes.

I know my cousin had to also do this, until the house was sold, and the divorce was through. I guess if you can be civil to each other, then that's the only way to get through it. Awful situation to be in.

Hello Mercedes

This is an awful situation, I did it for about six weeks and it was very difficult. What does your solicitor say? Is the house rented or bought? If bought, the financial settlement from the divorce will order what is to happen to the house, and I am surprised that this has not taken place yet, what are the grounds for divorce? if you are still in the same house then it can be hard to prove separation. if rented, I would be inclined to start hunting for somewhere else.....but do seek guidance from your solicitor first

Hi Mercedes

Oh I can't imagine how hard that must be. You say he will not move out, I presume that you are not happy he is there.

Louise is right, you must find out your rights from a solicitor.

How do the children get on with him? How do you feel around him? Have you come up with some ideas to make life a little easier?
