... I do!

Sorry guys, but just have to have a rant! This is my past ten days...

Thursday before last - as you all know I was stressing over court and not having a solicitor. Well to top it off prior to that my freezer had broke and I was using my neighbour/friends freezer until I can get funds to buy a new one... Anyways, I sat at my lap top ready to finish my 5000 word assignment which was due in on the following Monday and guess what?! My entire Microsoft office was wiped from my computer including my assignment so far and all my notes!!!

Friday before last - spent entire day in uni re- writing essay (managed to do a 3rd of it)

Last Satuerday - Back at uni writing assignment. Came home tried to print it, printer broke.

Sunday - Drove back to uni to print assignment for hand-in on monday. On Way back from uni exhaust falls off car! And so starts the vomitting and diorhea.. !!!

Monday - Assignment handed in and £135 forked out for car! Vomitting and diorhea continues

Tuesday - Went docs, told I have Gastroentinitis (or whatever it called!) and am still being violently sick etc. To top it off friend who has all my food in her freezer decides to go off to her mums for a few days so I now have buy more food!

Wednesday - dreaded court date! panic sets in. Still violently ill. Gets pulled by police on way to court because I have one passenger too many and am issued with £60 fine and 3 points on license!

Thursday - Little angel goes on school trip and loses her brand new coat, she had only had it 2 weeks! Am still being violently sick and have been unable to eat.

Friday - Though I was getting better so drove to asda and was sick on route all over my car!

Saturday - luckily was in bed all day being sick so no bad could happen.

Today - still trying to recover from the gastroentinitis. And then go to petrol station and fill up car when I try to pay on my card it declines!!! Petrol station ask for my driving license as security that I will pay but of course my license has been sent to DVLA to have my 3 points added and I had no other forms of ID on me. After a very awkward and embarrassing wait they let me go and I promise to come back and pay. Now when I check my online bank I see that Amazon has charged me twice for £77 for books I ordered and I am now overdrawn?! I mean seriously? How much more am I meant to take??!!!

Sorry for the hefty tale but I just dont get why I am having so much bad luck lately.

Wow littleangel, you've certainly had a run of things recently.

I think you have had your fair share of upsets for a while, hopefully the universe will give you a break. Smile

I know you were having a rant earlier, but out of interest, what positives have there been in the last 2 weeks?

Hi Anna, thanks for the reply x

Oh dear positives, now your asking lol been hard to notice any lately. The one thing I was happy about was getting assignment in on time so I gues that was a positive.

Today has been drama free thankfully so can breath out lol

littleangel - I am so sorry about this! I know about exam stress - luckily I have a stomach like a horse and am hardly ever sick sick. Did the GP give you something for your gastroenteritis? Did he say what caused it? Sorry, but the nurse is coming out again. You have to make sure you drink enough - hard I know, but especially important if you're being sick all the time, or you get dehydrated.

Hopefully you can get some you time in now the assignment is done! You deserve it! 10000 words is no small feat!

Sending you big hugs xxx

Thanks hun, Doc just told me to drink plenty of fluids, which was hard initially because couldnt keep water down. Their is an out break of gastrentinitis in my area so that was given as the cause. Littleangel has just told me her stomach hurts so am hoping she isnt going to get, I hate seeing her poorly.

Sorry if I said 10,000 words I meant 5,000 words for essay which was still a hell of a lot for me (although personally I find the reading for an essay much harder than writing one - what do you reckon?) Unfortunately as you know with uni, the 'me' time is short lived I now have 4 new books to be cracking on with for the next module.

I have to say am feeling better today though the incident at the petrol station yesterday was the last straw and I snapped. but as they say when you are down the only way to go is up - fingers crossed!

You said 5000 but you wrote it twice, so in my book that was 10000 words! :-)

Yeah, just writing is ok, it's all the references they want. What are you studying? Our current module means we have to give a presentation every other week for the next 6 weeks (at least there's no assignment).

You're doing well even functioning with your upset stomach, so be proud of yourself!

Im doing Social Work. Yeah referencing is a 'mare, I started my degree from no educational background beyond GCSE's 13 years ago (didnt do access course or a levels) so really struggled with referencing as this was never an issue in school lol I am getting there now I think (i'll wait see what my mark is first lol). In fact just going back in to education in general after so many years has been a struggle but I am determined :o)

Hi littlengel sorry to hear that you have been having such a  bad time of it, as you say it can only get better from here.  Glad your feeling somewhat better and welldone you on having the resilience to get your assignment done even though you had so much on your plate.

Yuck referencing it's a pain, i have just finished doing my teaching course and still have assignments to be handed in and your right referencing can take awhile to get used to.

Oh little angel, poor you! if it happened to a character in a book you would say huh that would never happen in real life. Let's hope you have finally turned the corner, that your tummy is settling down and hey you got your assignment in Smile "Things can only get better" so they say.

Here is a little film clip for you, poor old Charlie Chaplin seems to have had a similar week to you!
