Hi I am enquiring to what benefits and help I could receive as a single farther with his own house morgaged and wishes to continue to work but only part time so I can support my three children and set them an example on working.

 As I am putting in for custardy for them as they are currently in care and at the monment i work full time but will have to change jobs so i can Guarantee i will be home for my children.

 I think i will be looking at working six hours a day so i can take my little one to and from school. and may be weekends

The children are;

Five, thirteen and fithteen

Any other ideas so i am prepared for the SS when they come trying to make demands or whatever but i have been told to be "nice" to them

Thanks

Hi Pash02, have a look at this Benefit Calculator from Turn2us, hopefully this will give you an idea of what you could claim.

Hi,

i need some advice.

gone to my job centre to sign on and unfortunately they sanctioned me. Apparently not doing enough. My situation is, that fighting wit my ex to see my kids. It's time consuming but I still look for work.

tried to apply for crisis loan but got turned down coz apparently she put disallowance on it.

Is there anything I can do?

Many thx,

kat

Hi Katuska123

Sorry to hear about the sanction, just wondered if you can appeal against the decision?

You can message our Money Expert who is from Citizens Advice Bureau, they may be able to point you in the right direction click here for link.
