Hi carnation 14. Welcome along to One Space. Have you been having problems with your daughter for long, or is it something quite new? Have you tried talking to her about it? Teenagers can be soooo draining can't they?! It can feel like you are in a losing battle and often with extreme temper tantrums we can feel completely helpless. It is really important not to blame yourself.

Can you pinpoint what flares your daughters temper?

Can she not take being criticised?

Being told she has to do something, or not allowed to do something?

Is she frustated when she is unable to do something?

Is she feeling bad about how well she is doing at school or how she looks?

It could one of the above of a few, if you can put your finger on it, then we can have a think about how to tackle these outbursts.
