An opportunity to explore what is meant by diversity and how to get involved in your community.
This course explores the differences and similarities between single parents from different communities and aims to support you in challenging discrimination and look at how you can get involved in your community.
Activities and resources have been chosen to appeal to a broad range of skills, learning styles and backgrounds. Group work, quizzes, discussions, case studies and practical activities are all part of the experience. The course is for those interested or involved in: the community, campaigning, networking, or supporting families, black and minority ethnic groups, refugees and asylum seekers and other minority communities. It offers an opportunity to find out about yourself and your community as well as having fun and learning new things.
