Childcare
Creche offered by the Bristol Study Centre.
Our free creche provides care for the children of parents attending activities at SPAN in Bristol. It is open to all users of SPAN and the Study Centre, to support parents who are training, tutoring, volunteering or attending other activities.
The creche is registered by OFSTED to care for 13 children aged 0-5 yrs. We therefore adhere to set guidelines and policies, and we are inspected periodically to ensure that these are adequately met.
A qualified creche leader and sessional staff work in the creche to provide a range of play experiences to encourage the children’s physical, intellectual, language, emotional & social development.
We have a structured daily routine to help children feel comfortable, relaxed and happy during their visits. The creche is equiped with a wide range of play materials which positively reflect our multi-cultural and diverse society.
Parents are a vital part of our team and we actively encourage partnership with parents to foster a close, supportive and professional relationship, based on mutual respect and understanding.
The creche is normally open Monday – Friday from 9.30 to 12.00 and 1.00 to 3.00, during term time. Places must be booked in advance - contact: 0117 9520626.
