SPAN's patron

Ms Dynamite is SPAN's Patron.

Ms DynamiteI have seen the amazing possibilities for change that can happen to single parent families when they are given the right support. I am pleased that SPAN asked me to be their patron and I have accepted for a number of reasons. I am part of a single parent family household and have been surrounded by friends and family from single parent families. This has raised my awareness of many of the issues and difficulties that can arise due to there being only one parent. SPAN offers the kind of information and support I know has helped single parents around the UK for over 16 years and I am happy to be the patron for this organisation which is not just about being a single parent family, but about being a family!
