Are you struggling to make ends meet?

Posted by Chris Gaine at May 15. 2008

I am an assistant producer with Minnow Films. We are making an 8 minute documentary for Channel 4 News about working families -including one parent families - living on low incomes.

We intend the stories to be sympathetic to the working families and to show that they have much to be proud of even if they are struggling financially.
As supermarket prices and fuel bills continue to soar, we'll ask what factors have affected household incomes in the past year.

We are looking for people with children under 18 who are in the following jobs (or others that are low paid): factory workers, nursery nurses, repairmen, school cooks, care-workers, hospital porters, cleaners, bus-drivers, part time nurses, agricultural labourers, teaching assistants, supermarket workers etc.

We are working on a tight deadline so would love to hear from people who want to highlight these issues as soon as possible. Please feel free to call me or email me your contact details just to find out more details - this is not a commitment to take part and will be confidential.

Please contact Kate Griffiths on 020 3051 5253 extension 79 or kateg@minnowfilms.co.uk
